Solid post.
I'll be in Tiger Stadium for the a&m game, regardless of the Ole Miss outcome.

That's a quality post with a want to make a point.

Thanks for the nice comments. Shameless bump because I posted this so late last night. I Re-read today and after a night's sleep I still feel the same, so can't chalk it up to drunk posting.

Best thing I've EVER read here. As an editor, do you need a job? We're looking for reporters. LOL / JK - But very well written and worded. And I agree with the content 100%.

I actually thought about making a post similar to this but I didn't have the time.
Very well written, MUCH better than mine would have been.
At the end of the day, it's just a game. 20 year old me didn't take losses easy, now that I'm almost 30 I can take a step back and breathe again after a poor performance or last second win.

Don't get me wrong: as a self described negatiger, I've got big problems with the position the coaching staff has put our players in more times than I can count. They are capable of so much more, and it doesn't have to be complicated. Their talent rarely gets a chance to shine through. I've been in the 'it's time to move on from Les' crowd for years now. That said, I just can't in good conscience put it on the kids anymore. What I saw last night just put it all in the proper perspective.

Enjoyed reading that, good post. I have to remind myself every time I get angry about a game/loss and carry it over to the next day, how much worse it must be for kids who aren't getting paid and are working their asses off to lose. They'll always have my support for playing at LSU, all of them.

Best reason to support our Tigers.

Thanks Nature Boy for a great post. My frustration in the last two games has been that the coaches did not put these players in the position to be competitive with two of our biggest rivals in two of the most critical games of the year. I didn't expect them to win both games. I did expect LSU to compete. The number of penalties, missed plays, blown assignments and total disorganization reflects on the coaching. These players are outstanding athletes. They are fine young men. Your post reminds us of that and of how young they are. It amazes me that a group of adults who get paid as much as our coaches do can't get a team more prepared to play in the biggest games of the season. I am behind our players 100% I also think some coaching changes need to be made.

I agree that your post was right on and I really think I will copy it and bring it with me to the Ole Miss game. I am going with my son and hopefully I won't have to refer to it too often during the game. You can stand outside the practice field or Tiger Stadium and notice that these gladiators are nothing more than padded and helmeted young boys.
Let's get behind the Tigers and kick Ole Miss's arse.

Excellent post. For all the negativity I've been feeling the last 2 weeks, this is what I needed to put it all into perspective.

I let Fournette in one of the PMAC doors when he knocked on it and the entrance worker near me got mad at me. I certainly wasn't going to be the one to tell him to go through a different entrance.

I'm sure I'll get teased for this question but here goes. I googled "TLDR" and it's short for "too long; didn't read". So, why would an original poster put this in their post title when surely they read their own post?
