Did you see who Texas played in the regionals and Supers? LSU's path at the CWS MIGHT and that's a big might considering Texas was HANDED the game by USM, have been easier. The entire path though was much harder for LSU than Texas.

their best pitchers are lefties, which is concerning

that tall true freshman lefty they have will give us problems...and if Wood is on he obviously can limit us out of the pen

Ok, just asking now.. no attitude... has LSU come through the weaker side of the bracket?

Listen guys, I want the Tigers to win. I want them to sweep. But you have to admit that there two games against Arkansas didn't really test them. UVA, yes... they were challenged a little. Texas, on the other hand, had a tough one against USm and Zona state

I would agree with you that Arkansas was a little weak especially in the second game but our games with UVA and Rice tested us plenty. I think UVA and Rice are better than 4 of the teams that were in Omaha. Texas played USM in game one...arguably the worst team in Omaha. ASU has a solid team but I am not sure Texas caught them at their high point. We faced two guys with ERA's around 1.80 and played well against both. I think both of those guys are better than anything Texas will throw at us.

Yeah, all the other teams in the CWS were like, "frick pitching"

I don't normally lol on these things literally, but that was a perfect comeback

Maybe we should just not show up.This board makes Texas sound like the best thing since slice bread. They slip by BC in extra innings, slip by Army YES ARMY. Beat USM becaue they couldn't throw a strike. then beat ZONA with two 9th inning HR'S.Lets stop acting like Texas can't be beat.

I think Rinaudo can.. and I stress, can.. be erratic. This is obviously a huge stage. He's emotional. Will have to control it.

Did you happen to miss Saturday’s game?

I'm with you Big Cat. LSU has blown through this thing. Their starting pitchers have better numbers. They hit better. They field better. They look better. They have better fans. The only thing that Texas has is the horseshoe up Augie's arse and a staff full of Righties.

The discussion about the strongest bracket is a moot point. Rice is probably better than anyone on the UT side and didn't they take 3of4 from the horns?

And for all of this "Arkansas was weak" crap, didn't they Sweep Oklahoma and Az State this year during the regular season? Didn't Virginia beat Cal Irvine, Ole Miss AND Strasberg? And don't even get me started on Rice who should have had the National seed that they gave to Oklahoma.

Maybe, just maybe, LSU's bracket looked weaker BECAUSE THEY WERE PLAYING LSU! What does that say about Texas?
