Sometimes you have to take one of these kids to show not only the recruits but their parents. That can certainly hurt Jimbo and A&M if this kid shines under Kelly’s leadership at LSU. As many have said, why not use Honey Badger as an example for this kid, well perhaps he can be that for someone down the line. There will always be kids with maturity issues, many want to straighten up as do their parents and Kelly can reach the kids via portal and recruiting. Just food for thought.

And at 19 years old I did 190 mph on my bike going down the interstate. You guys seem to forget that these are kids that are going to make mistakes. Some just get caught. I don't see an issue with him driving a car where one of the other players got caught with a small amount of weed. Most kids will buy into a program with a good locker room if it's already in place.

He did more than that. Do you really think Jimbo would suspend a player as good as him for riding in a car with weed?

From what I heard, he and Harold Perkins are tight. He might open the door for a few more players who we might be looking at that want to leave A&M. The Honey Badger comes to mind when we talk about losing player over pot. Saban wasn't stupid enough to destroy his team by enforcing pot rules. We lost some good players due to our strict policy.

He got suspended for a curfew violation, because one of the 2 other players he was with had weed on them. It's more of a guilty by association thing. This wouldn't have happened if one of the kids didn't have a weed vape pen on him.

What does him driving fast in a parking lot have to do with being a locker room cancer?

Jordy said Denver Harris and Harold Perkins Jr. are good friends going back to their youth football days. He also said Perkins is a straight arrow and all about football and school.
So if BK wants to give the kid a second chance, #40 vouches for him and agrees to look after Denver Harris, then I dont see a problem with bringing him in.
It's tough to judge what happens in College Station because the program is a free for all and has zero rules. Jimbos program is the opposite of how LSU is run under Brian Kelly.

I think in this case where in one season you have a player with 3-4 disciplinry issues that has him barred from team activities you offer the hard knocks option. Come in for no NIL, prove your skill and worth to your teamates, and earn the NIL and recognition by proving it on the field, the lockerroom, and the classroom. Let him build himself back up rather than the recruiting hype.

Come in for no NIL,
Plus I ain't much on taking away people's ability to make money

Life Changing Money
You and I probably disagree on what “life changing money” is. Regardless, A&M has more where that came from. He should stay in College Station. I hope Kelly has the sense to stay away from this idiot.

He’s a 18 year old kid, he deserves another chance.
Just like Miles did with mett, j hill and Devin white.
Also like he gave Mathieu 100 chances with pot before he booted him.

So, in other words, not his dream school? The offer was on the table. He passed. Sounds just like a guy who knows how to set a goal and achieve it.

It was (allegedly) 7.7 ounces of weed in ziplock bags, not a vape pen.

Trust me, we need him. I’m sure CBK and Gordon have made him a strong arse offer.
