For the final series: Friday (Bullpen), Saturday Eyanson, Sunday Kade
Final series is Sat-Sun-Mon
Sat: Kade
Sun: TBD
Mon: Eyanson if necessary.

The best scenario is have a big lead, Eyanson only goes 6 and you can rest Shores and Evans.

go 3-0 so you have Anderson/Eyanson available to start against CCU
This is the answer. You do everything you can to make this happen.
Don’t forget that Skenes never pitched the championship series and we got shelled game 2.
Eggs are expensive. I don’t want to stay in Omaha for 3 days this time.

gotta see how tomorrow goes. would be nice to not use Shores or evans and jive them both ready to extend in. Game 3

Not sure why you think Eyanson wouldn’t pitch Sunday

If he throws a lot of pitches tomorrow, they may hold off and start someone like Evans with Eyanson available out of the pen.
If we throw Eyanson on a day short of a normal schedule it could backfire and you’re rolling out a bullpen game on Monday should we lose.

quote:yeah they’ve gone from Fri-Sun to Thu-Sat series without having to switch up the rotation multiple times this year. Anderson would be on a full weeks rest Saturday and Eyanson would be available to go as long as we needed him to on Sunday too.

It’s the finals series you don’t hold anything back. they must forget we threw Skenes in 2023 Saturday 120+ pitches against Tennessee and then another 120+ against WF on Thursday.

Evans would be on shorter rest than Eyanson…

Yeah they aren’t holding Eyanson for the possibility of game 3 just because he’s on 5 days rest instead of 6.

100% correct. But if you have to use Evans you use him. All hands on deck tomorrow nite you have to go 2-0 and make the other team beat you twice.
