Vandy is in black uniform with gold helmet. LSU either is going all white or they throw out a gold jersey to piss everyone off.

It's common knowledge the "Purple Poison" (at home) regime in the years 1989-1994 led to many losses, and no doubt the dismissal of both Mike Archer and Curley Hallman. I can swear there was something in that G-P-G combo which led to all the losses.

G-P-G was also worn at home during the 3 year tenure of Bill Arnsparger (1984-1986) who not only had a winning record all 3 of his years, but also took the team to 2 SEC championships and Sugar Bowls (one WAS because Florida was put on probation) as well as a Liberty Bowl.
