True. However, having watched that game a number of times, LSU pretty much dominated.

It probably stopped hurting for some of you who aren't reminded of it daily. Pictures of that damn "catch" are all over Iowa City. It's on the back of city buses on banners around the campus and the stadium. When football season heats up again it will be all over the newspaper again as well. Of course, all of the pictues neatly crop out the LSU guys being held on either side of the player making the catch. Let's not forget that detail.

Not a reply to originator. First of all it was a great comeback to have gotten ahead in the game. When it looked like Iowa made a mistake with the time; their decoy worked. Blown coverage and blame for Saban leaving didn't help. The ironic thing that I mention to Iowa fans, is , that the great expectations they had for the quarterback that threw the touchown pass never came to fruition.

did they ever say that the whole time thing was a decoy? I'd always thought they just mismanaged the clock after the penalty and got lucky.

What hurt was getting plowed into after the game as I was getting up to leave. There had been a fight about 20 rows above me and some guy got thrown down the stands, causing a chain-reaction of people falling into the person below them.
Talk about adding injury to insult.
I ended up plowing into some Iowa dude in the row in front of me.
A crappy ending to a crappy ending.

I am in Des Moines right now and when I have spoken to customers today and tell them where I went to school everyone of them brings up the Iowa game

THEY CHEATED FOR GOD'S SAKE!!! They held on that play....just pull out that pick (posted earlier) and show them. Then tell them you'd rather win without cheating than to win like that.
