We return a competent QB (haven’t said this in years)

Competent doesn't win championships.

Murray, Tua, Fromm, Haskins, Lawrence...the teams that are there at the end have elite QB play.

Burrow can be above average, but he's not elite.

Since Eaux took over, our losses to Bama have gotten increasingly worse.

We will lose to Bama again so we would have to be perfect the rest of the year. Clemson is gonna be in again too. So you’ll have the usual suspects fighting for 3-4.

It's astounding that so many cannot appreciate the difficulty in this task.

If we had a pulse vs Alabama then yeah, maybe I could see it. But we're starting off with one L already in the column. That's a tall order for a team with so many, well let's call them internal challenges.

LSU coulda/shoulda been 11-1 this year, so I’ll give them a shot to pull it off next year with the softer schedule. However, LSU is nowhere close to being able to produce on offense what Alabama, Clemson and OU were able to put together yesterday. And 2/3 of those will have a defense that’s as good or better than ours. So yeah, we should have a good year, but we won’t be Bama/Clemson good. That gap is still wide which is why I can’t buy into the “go on a major run” part of ur post.

11-1 possible but so is 10-2. Bama will be a 6.0 to 7.5 favorite. For comparison sake we will have the best odds against them as far as spread per Vegas for any team they play against in regular season.

Burrow is not a Heismann QB but he is good enough to win many games for us if he has the supporting cast. As in a dependable OT and WRs who can block and catch with consistency.

Hope so for sure but remember, unless we develop players we will be fighting for second place in the west. We recruit as good as anybody but many players don't develop to their potential. Some of these leave early or sign as free agents and then get developed to their potential.

We were never going 11-1 this year. Too many holes in the roster, too brutal of a schedule. 10-2 was the absolute ceiling, could have been as bad as 7-5. We achieved about what we thought we would at 9-3. In reality 10-2 as the A&M game was a farce and a game we won 5 times over if the SEC would have allowed us to!

Not last year. The lines played well vs Bama at BD and outplayed Bama for 40 minutes out of 60. Unfortunately that is not enough. We lost because we could not make the big plays and Bama did. Two long passes to Chark from Etling completed instead of incomplete and that game ends up much closer if not end up going into OT.

In his mind because of these following:

1. hardcore Negatiger with issues.
2. Part of Bama shadow staff of posers.
3. Troll with no life.
4. Just being an a....e and a loser all the same.
5. Multiple choices of the above.

Ensminger coordinated offenses have been horrific against Sabama. Perhaps that's what he meant.

We got beat 29-0 at home at night to Bama this year with one of the most fired up crowds imaginable. Are they losing their whole team?

And Eaux ran off the guy who actually showed an offensive pulse against Bama so he could hire his buddy who is now scoreless in 8 quarters AT HOME.

If they can't get along then there was no other choice. Granted Coach E has got to develop a game plan to provide a pulse vs Bama and can even score. From what I heard there was fault on both sides. That is what happens with a he said, they said big beef. But Canada was most likely the instigator.

Matt C is a human a...e. A talented play caller for an ACC or Big 12 or Big 10 program. In the SEC not so sure if his offense would have sustained success. UGA, Bama etc would have caught on to his tendencies and formations. That and his personality are among multiple reasons why he never sticks at a place for a long tinme
