Not only that, his reasoning was also flawed. The gamble he proposed is $1,000 to win $100. His reasoning was that if he lost the $1,000 he would be consoled by a National Championship. But if he hadn’t bet we still would have won the National Championship, so he can’t weigh that in his betting calculations.

I mean, you might have a point, but they must have some confidence in the thought, "We aren't playing our best and we're still winning." If that motivates them to play harder down the stretch it is an advantage. If they rely on the fact they're "that" good, it might bite them in Omaha (or before).

That SEC Tourney Title game ended up looking like an Omaha game by the end of it. I don’t know what you mean by they slept walked their way in. They’re prone to being beat by anyone that makes it to Omaha, even if they do have as much of a shot as anyone else to win it all

I’d like to bet on Tennessee but I hate that they are the #1 seed. Might just say yolo on the LSU odds
