last year vs. arkansas when alem kicked the ball for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. without the penalty, arkansas would have been forced to punt deep in their own territory as opposed to "another arkansas razorback first down". i got sick of hearing that. the cherry on top was les hugging him on the sideline following the play.

u of miami @ lsu; '88; canes handing tigers their heads but lsu still mathematically in the game near halftime; tropical storm, lots of rain swirling in tiger stadium; tigers have ball near midfield - 3rd and short - makeable in 2 running plays w/ chance for points that would have been a huge momentum shift for tigers; instead hodson drops back to throw a hail mary pass - ball squirts out of his hand - flies like a wounded bird - caught in winds and lands incomplete

If there is anything that infuriates me, it's the stupid unsportsmanlike penalties after the play is over. Those can completely be avoided.

The play in the 05 game was stupid.
I assume your referring the int. that Zenon returned for a TD in the SEC champ. That was just a missed read, and a great play by the DB to jump the route. mistakes like that happen to every OB. But the other one was stupid.

This one was an EPIC fail. Cecil was over 200 yards gained at this point in the game. The Auburn defense could not stop him even as they knew he was getting the ball.

Xavier Carter kneeling on the one yard line was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the subject. Reading all of these other suggestions hasn't swayed my original opinion. What a dumbass play! Throwing the ball away or getting a personal foul in the heat of the moment is one thing. Kneeling down at the one because you are afraid to try to make a play is 100 times worse in my book.

Xavier Carter's play was pretty stupid, except I thought it happened against Florida in '04 not against Georgia. I went on the Student Government bus trip for this game. I thought the knee lead to Russell throwing one of his interceptions near our own goaline.

I stand corrected. Man I could've sworn it was the Florida game. I guess I tried to forget that Georgia game all together because it was just terrible.

Last year against Bama when we were in OT and it was 2nd and 5 and they moved Lee to WR and put Murphy in the Wild Tiger!!!! Next Play I think we all knew what happened, heres a hint for those who dont remember (ANOTHER INT by Lee TO BAMA SAFETY)That play still pisses me off!
