We went for a bachelor party to the LSU/Bama game in Tuscaloosa in 2013 in an RVwith about 12 guys. Great weekend. Ended up being given 2 tickets to the game by a guy who works for TAF. After the game, went to the Jupiter and all got slammed. Got a ride back to the RV Park from this guy called 'New York' in a late 90's Pontiac Sunfire. Still have his number in my phone and often drunk dial him and ask him to come pick us up when we're drunk at the camp. Other than the loss, a great weekend. Still won't forget the smell of that RV by the end of the weekend. PS, don't drink that yellow hammer shite.

I was there the last time we beat them. It was a great experience until after the game when the angry gumps raged and reacted violently. I've heard the same from others who were there. It's worth it though, seeing their asses so upset.

The stadium atmosphere is one of the most sterile, "NBA-like" atmosphere I've seen. Fans only cheer or applaud when prompted to. Or when they score. The "Million Dollar Band" is awful.

Any tips on traveling, game day experience, dos and donts?
Bring binoculars since you'll most likely be sitting in the upper rows of the end zone upper deck.

Used to go every other year in the early 2000s until it became a priority point game. Probably the best away game trip I've made, but at the time we were beating them every year. Anyway, the campus is nice, people were nice.
Edit: Oh, and I don't know if it's still there, but there used to be something like a flea market down the sidewalks of the road going to the stadium, selling all kinds of Bama memorabilia, some of which was hilarious. Best example were black velvet paintings of Bear Bryant in something like religious settings. ex: the ascension of the bear

bama fans will fight each other after the game, win or lose

Bama has the worse fan base of them all.

Be sure to maul a couple of young children while you are on campus and throw piss balloons at their parents. Gotta keep LSU's status as having the worst fans in the SEC going.

It's a fun place to go. Lots of very nice people and some decent places to eat. Parking isn't to bad and getting out has never been much of a issue.

Actually, I do know what the frick I'm talking about, Sparky. MDB has been a park-n-play band for the last several years. They do scatter formations.
Hell, I see better bands marching through the Quad in a random Tuesday during the summer.
