I havn't "cried" about anything yet, so not sure why you keep saying "you" to me.
But since we are on the subject, I don't think we have a chance. I'm just not crying about it... and I wan't LSU to win as much as anyone on this board, and I will be rooting for LSU as much as anyone on this board.
An intelligent person understands being a realist and "not supporting" are two completely separate things.
But more power to the people that want to "cry" about other people that supposedly "cry".

We are not miserable about Bama coming to town, the misery is the product of multiple years of watching a Miles coached team consistently underperform on offense and rack up penalties.

I think you have this backwards. The older guys have a much better perspective on things. We've had a great run during the past decade. I'm thoroughly enjoying it. Do I want to win a national championship every year? Sure. Is it realistic? No. Sit back and enjoy the ride folks. These are the golden years of LSU football.

I would have been in whole-hearted agreement with you even a year ago. Then I grew up. No offense, but projected one's wishes onto actual probable outcomes is more girlish than giving an honest opinion. The last time I did act like a little girl was when I took two days off from work to mope around like a bitch after Bama skullfricked the best season in school history in the Superdome.
ETA: It's a game. I love it. I love watching and cheering. LSU is my team. But it's just a game. I wish Coach Miles and the boys the very best and hope they fricking embarrass Bama. We'll see. My hope does not translate into gameday production.

I was at AFRICOM in Germnay at the time so I'd already taken one day off to stay up and watch the game (we were 7 hours ahead of CST). It was on a Monday if you remember.
I got plenty drunk and stayed that way for the rest of the day, so I called in sick for the following day as well. My boss just chuckled and told me I'd have to face the crew sooner or later.

I don't know... our rushing is 25th in the nation and that is part of the offense. LSU is 51st in scoring which isn't bad considering how much clock we burn by running.

Have read all this...... If Bama has more total plays than LSU they win. If LSU has more total plays they win. Thats how both teams win.Ball control is key and with Bama having a much much better passing game the edge is def in Bamas favor.Bama will NOT beat themselves with stupid penalties and turnovers.
