No one would care about that crap when Brennan threw for 3000 yards and Edwards-Helaire was the top receiving back in the SEC.

Here's the good news...gonna happen anyway!

Give me Alabama's recruiting class year after year and I beat Saban with a HS coach.
ummmm maybe if your name is one of the following:

Brent Indest
Gerald Laughlin

both former Abbeville High School legends that did what they could with a limited talent base.

I think O wasn't comfortable going outside again after not getting a long with Canada.

I can see where that is a plausible guess. However, since he worked with T Martin before, and with reports he wanted Briles but was rejected by administration, not sure it is a valid guess.

Even though he looks young, he actually looks more mature here.

My friend was an all big 12 safety at Baylor back in the day and he follows them closely. He said with our talent level we would have dominated everyone if we picked up K. Briles. Offensive genius. He laughed when I told him our admin blocked it from happening. SMDH

Because you know why that happened the way it did. It's pretty crazy everyone here is an expert, yet no one has a job in sports.

Dave will hire him next offseason.

Best case, Ed fired after lackluster year (I'm thinking worst since 2014), Aranda hired and goes after Briles. Briles spends 2-3 years here improving LSU's offense and chipping his dad's transgressions off of his name a bit.

You guys are forgetting that he is not totally out of the accusation and affiation line of sight with concealing rampart sexual assault and rape. This could be a PR disaster for us. I like his offense but the baggage is dangerous.

We’ll likely regret this one.

When Major Applewhit is named HC he will bring Kendal with him.

I guess I kind of get these concerns, but tbh it really isn't an excuse anymore regarding passing him up.

The whole Michigan State/Nasser thing has completely taken over any college rape angle that ESPN or anyone is looking to talk about regarding athletics.

Also, Art is the one who is stained here. 20 years from now if anyone brings it up it will be Art Briles whose name comes up, not Kendal's.

The baggage of one player being found guilty of a crime and serving a sentence? If you're going to mark off a coach for having one player been found guilty of rape or any crime, I'd assume the list of possible hires would be pretty small.

LSU hired Jimbo Fisher,

yes? and tell me how many good QB's we had under him that he developed? as well as at FSU? He had a record setting offense at LSU twice. Wait so jimbo did not improve the offense compared to bob mcconnell?

Crowton,

also had a record setting offense at LSU. ya know what? i will just stop here. it is obvious you are still STUCK ON STUPID as always.

I would have exchanged all those OCs with an average OC if we could get a great QB and a solid OL.

you have to DEVELOP PLAYERS! they do not come in from high school ready to go. yeah bring in a stud pro style passing QB and put him in a spread option offense Or a dual threat in a pro style. you also need players that fit schemes.

Hey, I LOVE the ART Briles system. Kendall tutored under Daddy. . If he is such a hot commodity and other programs were not concerned with rape bagge, why did’t a P5 school scoop him up. FIU and Houston are second tier programs. The risk of a Briles at this time out weighed the possible benefit.
