I dont think it's by accident the 3 best pass defenses Miami faced last year: Wisconsin, Clemson, FSU.
Clemson’s Dline ate him alive, Clemson also has one of the best dlines in the country.

Against FSU he was 19 of 44 for 254 yds 3 TDs and 1 Int
Including a game winning drive

Wisonsin confused him all day, they owned him.

In my opinion, We will see a shite ton of RPO and misdirection in Miami offense to try and slow down and confuse the front 7. We will have to spy the QB and keep them honest. If they go man up we hammer that arse and they roll over in the second quarter.

Ya and he’s had another year to develop. Returning a qb who throws 31td and then has another year of development during S&C and camp season should make the coaches feel pretty good. I believe we lucked out with Burrow because he is a very efficient qb. The last scrimmage he was much better than the given stats. He was our best qb day one and was dropping dimes last scrimmage. 17-24 I believe was what he should have had and probably would have if the starters played more. Considering it’s only been a few weeks for him at LSU that’s solid

So he completed a little over 40% against a bad fla St team. We get it, you have dug your heels in and by God rosier is good.

Spin? I said he had 31 TDs last year and check your facts he had good games against FSU, North Carolina and Ga Tech. He struggled late but I wouldn’t sleep on him.

Rosier had 26 TDs passing and 5 running. He also threw 14 INTs.

The good game vs NC was 16/38 (42%) for 356 3 TDs and 1 INT. Va Tech dropped 59 points on UNC. That was a horrible team and Miami struggled vs them.

Florida St he was 19/44 (43%) for 254 3 TDs and 1 INT.

VS Ga Tech he was 23/37 (62%) 297 and 1 TD

GA Tech was the only game of your 3 "good" games he was over 43% passing.

Records: FSU (7-6), UNC (3-9), (GA Tech 5-6)

I would maybe re-think the "good" games statement. He put up a lot of yards, but comparatively Etling's only game he threw for 30 times he was 19/30 (63%) 347yds and 3 TDs vs A&M who is better than all 3 of the teams you sited.

That’s why he was so happy to talk about that 3 headed monster they have at running back . But with our D line this year and our bad arse linebackers , I don’t think that 3 headed monster will do shite !

He became a liability once he started playing defenses with a pulse

Not true pitt defense was trash and he along with the offense was way off. It was a weird game. He played horribly verse clemson but so did everyone else. The offense started off strong vs the #2 ranked Wisconsin defense in the country when they put up 14 points and 200 yards in the first quarter but did not finish that game well and our defense was bad in that game period especially in the second quarter

Best way to counter a poor line? Spurrier them to death with 10 yard slants/out routes with an offense and super accuatate shotgun QB tailored to execute that. Which we have.

Good point. Skip mentioned it on Sports Today earlier he was at the scrimmage Saturday and EVERY Offensive play was out of the SHOTGUN......

Yup.

We were rolling against Wisconsin then Malik throws a pick and everything becomes dysfunctional. Think we had a total of negative yardage in the 2nd quarter of that game.

Miami had 203 total yards that game.

Exaggerate much?

Meant to say 200, we did not have 203 total offensive yards that game. Rosier had 203 passing yards himself and 41 rushing yards

You are correct. I looked at the wrong stat. They had 153 yds the 1st QTR though.

You serious clown? I just said he’s not the liability that your making him out to be and compared him to Bo Wallace.

The same dumbass mentality that you have is what led to us losing to a sunbelt school.

Stop underestimating your opponent.

Honestly to sum it up with Rosier:

He has a strong arm and is mobile. He can get yards with his feet and stretch the D with his arm, but has questionable judgment.

If he throws a lot he can put up a lot of yards and TDs, but also will have a lot of INTs and incompletions.

Is that fair?
