Not many quarterbacks can make that throw
Lets pump the brakes on that. Was a great throw but there's no need to church it up.

You should be perma-banned for this...

That’s false. Regardless who you want to start, we would have been begging for Myles Brennan 4 years ago

Hope you’re prepared to watch him start this year

Myles needed to improve his mobility
Not really something you can just, all of a sudden, have.

Myles can make all the throws.
Max can make all the throws that Joe could. Both arms aren’t as strong as Myles,’ but are pretty comparable to each other. Joe proved that having a cannon arm is pretty overrated.

Just went back and watched South Carolina game.
Auburn is in fabulous shape at qb.

I don't see where the fawning over Myles Brennan against bad defenses comes from. When he had time to throw, he threw good balls. When he didn't, God help us.
That "bad defense" owned our OL that day. Brennan was running for his life and took many many hits. Don't know what game you watched.

I stand corrected. Spell check can make you lazy.

A game we lost, on the one yard line.
that must mean they were really good, right?

Let's see if my post holds up this season. If it does I hear crow tastes good in a gumbo.

This is what you people (yes, you people) that start these threads don’t understand. I’m not pulling against Myles Brennan. I just like Max more and saw more in his game to feel better with him as the starter.
The decision has not been made—publicly anyway. That being the case, I would like it to be Max. When the decision is made, and if it’s Myles, I’ll support him, you’ll support him, every decent fan who cares more about the team than their own fragile ego will.
So no, there will be no crow eating from me, sir.

No it means exactly what I said "they owned our OL that day". Must take you an hour and a half to watch 60 Minutes.

Just watched the 2020 LSU Missouri game. If Brennan comes back and plays like he did against Missouri we are in fabulous shape at QB. Won't be surprised if Brennan starts and remains there for the season.
I will be very surprised because I don't think that guy Ed O was talking about on WWL that everyone in the locker room already knows will be the starter because it is so obvious is Myles Brennan.
Here's the reason why I don't believe that guy will be Myles Brennan. It's because LSU insiders like Blake Ruffino, Josh Booty, and Rohan Davy, (who was until just recently in the Myles Brennan camp) say Max Johnson has already separated himself from Myles Brennan in the locker room and on the field because Max does the things Jake Peetz wants to do on offense better than Myles.
Meanwhile, since none of them have indicated where they have heard that information from, I assume they are hearing it from their conversations with the players. As Ed O said it is already very obvious who the starter will be to everyone in the locker room.

I am a Max Johnson fan too and I really don't care who starts just want the one who gives us the best chance to win. My post was to state that Myles Brennan really looked great that day and I wouldn't be surprised if he starts and maybe wins the position. Either way as I said we will be in fabulous shape at QB this season.

As old as Brennan is, he ain’t staying 2 years.
And if he gets beat out, he gone

He has flunked this from day 1. You either have it or not.
Nice guy, strong arm. But it takes WAY more than that when our goal is to compete with Bama, Clemson, etc for national championships.
