Speculation includes: he read on TD that he should start for LSU. When he asked to practice with the 1's, the staff and then they asked him if he would like them to make some calls, maybe see if NW state would like to give him a free ride in return for riding the pines there in the piney woods.

really? Where did he go?

Lee has been through Hell and back since his freshman meltdown. I think nothing can rattle him now, and this is his time to step up!

Kind of hard to step up when pretty much all you get to do is stand around and watch one of the worst offenses in the country from the sideline.

He did go to NW State.
Reasons are all speculation right now. I know he had a falling out with Les Miles for some reason or another.

Take out Jamarcus Russell and tell me when we've had a truly dominant QB in the last 20 years.

How wrong can you be? LSU except for the last couple of years has gone through a run of the best qb's we have have ever had. Don't quote me on the year but after 1998 or so we have been solid at qb.

you do realize that this thread is a few weeks old

So 9 days = a few weeks??? You do realize that by your system of measurement it's been a few weeks since we beat Vandy. Seems like yesterday to me...

G-O-O-G-L-E.

Garrett choses Northwestern

quote:

Former LSU quarterback Chris Garrett plans to play for Northwestern State this fall, the player's father said Monday.

David Garrett said his son chose the Demons over scholarship offers from a host of other Football Championship Subdivision schools (formerly Division I-A), as well as a few Football Bowl Subdivision (I-AA) schools that were encouraging him to join their team as a walk-on.

In picking an FCS program, Garrett, a redshirt freshman, is eligible to participate right away.

I would take Rohan Davey over any LSU QB. Yes, I would. Ultimate gamer.

6.Zach Lee- we will never know.

don't close the door on this possibility yet. do you remember Josh Booty? not saying ZL will follow his play (hope not) just hoping maybe he will follow his carrier path (until the NFL thing, he should take his own path there and stay a little longer in "the League")

Elite? Name the elite quarterbacks of the last 3-4 years. Tebow, Bradford, McCoy

You don't need elite, although it does not hurt.

McElroy, Flynn, Krenzel, Ken Dorsey, Tee Martin, Josh Huepel, Mauck all have crystal footballs.

4.Chris Garrett- Never played, however must have been bad because the coaches that recruited him to LSU were taking away his scholarship.

more of a commitment and work ethic issue...

Dorsey and Huepel don't belong on that list.

In Miles six seasons, the only recruited QB's to make it in the program are J. Lee and Jefferson, and both are still developing.

So lets see...
2 5*
3 4*
1 3*

Better than most programs.
Only problem is he should have had a back up plan for Z. Lee. Lets hope he still does.
If it were not for rp on this team, which miles got him to switch from UT to LSU, we were not going to win the seccg. You know who would have started that game? Prob Hatch, maybe even J. Lee.
