No the Bills weren't great but I don't think it would have mattered much. His skills didn't translate as well to he NFL game IMO.

I guess you guys forget what Reed did at LSU. The Alabama game alone makes him the GOAT. He didn't have a second receiver that complimented him like Beckham. Landry is freaking amazing but his body of work isn't that of Reed's. The catch in the Peach Bowl? Reed had hands. And this is a guy who changed positions in the middle of his career. Have Landry come back another year and duplicate and then he can take the greatest title. Beckham helps him get open. They are both incredible.

Early was always hurt. Flynn locked onto him like no other to start 2011. Our offense was screwed for a bit when he got hurt until Flynn realized he could throw to someone else.

5'8" players to me are obvious

. Such as Dexter McCluster. Short choppy steps with short legs.

chop, chop, chop. my legs are moving fast, but im not going anywhere

Landry's knuckles scrape the ground. that alone tells me he is about 5'10"

Best hands in the history of football receivers, I'm convinced. Something about Arkansas turns on his incredible mode.

Josh Reed was 5'10. Landry is definitely taller. Scouts wouldn't be drooling over him if he was only 5'8. If he's 5'8 we'll see him in purple and gold again next for sure.

In '01 Reed had Clayton and Henderson. They complimented Reed in a big way IMO. If anything, Landry has only OBJ to compliment him.

Like I said, in person without pads or cleats on he looks like a bat boy, not an NFL WR.

Hell of a WR that is limited at the next level due to size/speed/athleticism

Clayton was a freshman, right? Beckham is a junior. I don't think Clayton or Henderson are in the same league collegiate wise with Beckham. Statistically they aren't.

Yes, but my point is that Clayton was a big guy (6-4), Henderson was fast. Along with Reed they were the total package. IMO, Clayton was mature beyond his years. Recall that it was he that we went to FTW vs UK in '01.

Wendell Davis
Josh Reed
Odell Beckham Junior
Carlos Carson (for you old-timers)
Eric Martin
Dwayne Bowe
Jarvis Landry
Michael Clayton

Jarvis has better hands then any of them. But I love em all for different reasons.

Andy Hamilton, who also wore no. 80, wasn't too shabby.

Pretty much this. If Landry comes back (doubtful, unless he's 5'8 :lol) and duplicates, then he's in the discussion with Reed. People have short memories on this board.
