You don't f-----g,know that. Let me help you out. You nor anyone else knows nothing about who will be candidates, what Woodward is looking for, who he is or isn't talking to. And you won't know until he announces it. And if it is Napier he will have done a lot more homework than you or anyone else will have done and he will know more about him than anyone on this board. And by the way there are Bama people. not just fans. that are hoping he is succeeds NS when he retires.

Well yeah, likely not even in the top five but you get the point.
It's understood at this point Woodward's swinging for big names, so I still don't see why some choose to get butthurt at the thought of Napier. God forbid we take advantage of a promising up and comer.

He’s only making like $800k a year let’s just hire him as a coordinator.

Wouldn't it be ironic if he took sabans place and just drilled us for 10 years. While our fans screamed for Joe Brady who hasn't even been a high school head coach

He's an offensive coordinator in the National Football League, who gives a flying frick if he coached highschool

Dude is a Solid, big time up and coming coach, even if you don’t want to admit it.
You post scores of close wins, like that’s a knock. Lol
Hey, go look at Michigan state 1995-1999…then go look at Oklahoma state 2001-2004
Then look at those coaches records at LSU.

I'd be more excited if we hire Napier next year than originally hiring Coach O in 2016.

Let me guess Kiffin is lol

He makes more at UL as a head coach lol..

Pretty sure they bumped him up to 2 mill a year..

So is Matt fricking Canada. You want Canada as the coach? You need to hire someone whose been a coach, you don’t take any gambles on someone whose never ran a program.

What a stupid fricking comparison, you Napier dick riders are some smoothed brained sons of bitches.

My father in law has been beating the Gruden drum for years... just googled and it looks like he's available (bill Parcells plan B)

It’s the exact same comparison with your reasoning. I’m sorry I’d rather a clean cut guy who has discipline and runs a disciplined team. Brady hates college and is a terrible recruiter and terrible at managing the politics of college football. Lane Kiffin is a reject and has had no success anywhere. Jimbo is a more sophisticated Coach O and no one is paying his buyout. Fickell hasn’t even left the state of Ohio. He has no idea how to recruit outside of Ohio. Franklin is okay, but has yet to win the BIG more than once and I see him at USC before LSU

What? Where have you heard he's an awful recruiter and that he can't manage politics?

The people who shite on Napier are the same ones who want Jimbo, Gruden, Kiffen, *insert any overpaid dude in the twilight of his career or probable train wreck waiting to happen.
This crew’s angle on evaluating coaches doesn’t go any deeper than popularity contest. No context. No interest in process, knowledge, standing amongst other coaches, etc.
Just “where has he been” & “what was the W-L ratio”.
Good thing none of them are AD :)

If Napier coached at any other school in the country, there would be no hate at all and he'd have even more support.
