The only reason Saban was even brought up it this is called something at his program, because of his success. But I’m reality, it happens at all big time schools

The criticism is typically ridiculous and deserves to be disputed.

I disagree. The sky-screaming about all the so-called bashing is way overblown.

People see what they want to see and these constant threads calling out "negatigers" only fan the flames.

The administration has harmed this program more than any fricking fan could.

The word discussion? It involves dialogue but exchanging ideas is the crux of the word. You seem incapable or unwilling to do so from nearly every interaction I’ve observed of you on this site, with a possible exception of buying new cars.

It means I got owned by autocorrect and didn’t proofread. I can see how one could be confused.

To clarify, the list of players who left the program cited earlier in this thread is commonplace at larger and desirable programs to play for and hardly an indictment of the coaching staff. Those guys are all at lesser schools and will likely not be heard from again in football. At Bama, this is called being processed, because of their success on the field and recruiting. I am arguing that the same thing happened with these guys at LSU, and it happens at other schools too. Kids are not escaping the coach, they are chasing PT and opportunities. Sometimes they get kicked off the team despite being a good player.

There are a few guys listed that could be exceptions, but Bama also has a few, Kamara being an obvious example.

The original claim was an unfounded criticism, and is the type of thing that gets one labeled as a “negatiger

Ha well yeah I’d say that is pretty obvious.

We're doing that very thing at this very second, so I'm really not sure what point you're trying to make. I love a good deflection as much as anyone though.

Blame the player transfer restrictions.

Are there any founded criticisms of 0 in your opinion? It seems you spend your life on here defending him from all the "negas."

There are plenty, this just isn’t one which I have now tried to explain to you in 3 or 4 posts.

Most of the time I defend him it is because people insert his name into a discussion.

For the record, I never wanted Orgeron to be the coach. Although I think he is an above average recruiter, I didn’t even want him here in the first place because I knew he saw an inside track at becoming the head coach (his contract was not like others on Miles staff and had just been a successful interim HC). The writing was on the wall.

However, he has done better than I expected. He is treading water and I don’t expect him to be the coach any longer than his contract. I try not to stress out about it. Some people don’t seem to be able to take that perspective and provide countless irrational posts about O that I see on a daily basis that are easy to argue. Things like “look at these 7-8 players that never saw the damn field at LSU running away from O, he sucks so bad!”

I’m sorry but did you not ask me “what does this mean?” I gave you an answer. And I’m the one deflecting? You are a weird dude lunchbox

All of the guys that will play at p5 schools are already there. Some of them went to D1 so that doesn’t fit your argument.

Again, if you want to have a discussion, tell me which of those players you see actually getting back on a p5 roster. They very well could, but there doesn’t seem to be much evidence at this point. It appears they left because they got passed up

You just explained the definition of discussion as if I didn't know it, and you're calling me weird? Whatever floats your boat.

Holy shite dude. Just how low were your expectations that getting blasted by State, losing to Troy for homecoming, and following that up with our worst recruiting class in 15 years is "better than expected?"

What was the purpose of you asking me then?

I didn’t really expect him to survive the season when he first was announced HC. I’m sorry did you? You don’t seem to have a high opinion of him, did that just develop?
