I thought I remeber reading that they couldn't put it in right field because the ground was soft or some infrastructure issue. I tried for about 30 seconds for a link but gave up.

I know that this is bordering on blasphemy, but I've always felt that it being an actual Lamar billboard looked chintzy. My personal ideal would be to scrap the advertisements on the wall and incorporate an "intimidator" into the wall itself. But, I know that will never happen being those businesses pay well to have their logos plastered onto the wall.
As a happy medium, I'd take some kind of sign in right field, but for heaven's sake, can we at least make it look like it's incorporated into the stadium and not like I'm driving down the interstate?

Yes, that's what the best program in college baseball needs, an effing billboard. This isn't the interstate where ULM puts up signs to frick with Bama. This isn't Livingston parish. We already have flags, that's all we need. Are some of y'all's dicks that small that you need this billboard in order to feel better about LSU? Everyone knows who we are and what we won. We don't need this trashing up the danged stadium.
Spend the money on getting our team on a bus up to the Bluffs since it appears we can't 'afford' to play a 2 and 1 with them anymore.

i want some sort of intimidator in left field, but i don't want a cheesy billboard behind a brand new stadium, it just wouldn't look right. they ought to construct something a little nicer to display our national titles. it needs to be big like the intimidator but not just a billboard. jmho
