Holding out hope for McDonnell and hoping the good ole boys don’t hijack Woodward.

Why would Corbin ever come to LSU? Someone please explain.

I think it’ll be Godwin. I hope it’s McDonnell.

Either one is a great option.

Bianco because that would be the most LSU move possible.

Why would he leave Vandy? He’s got recruiting advantages and if he wins this year will have 3 titles. Although the Whistler alone would make me leave

ETA: I think it’s going to be Bianco

I think so too. I would rather McDonnell but I would be happy with either one.

According to Jordy the brass thinks he’s too young.

Come on, man.

I think it's Vitello.

REASONS:
- He's young. Could easily get 20,30 years out of him if he's the real deal.

- He's an ace recruiter. The NIL bullcrap is going to rock the boat, but his background + LSU brand can and WILL land any player he wants.

- Clearly knows how to coach. He just embarrassed us and pulled off something that hasn't been done since the gottdamn 80's. This season, and last season before it was all shut down, are one hell of an audition.

- Woodward would be an idiot to pass TV, and let Arkansas come and get him when DVH retires.

- He's cocky and arrogant. Which is exactly what the kids today relate to, that's what ball players are like now. He has the swagger and youth to bring some ATTITUDE down here.

- He has the highest ceiling. What exactly has Bianco, Godwin, etc. done? How many actual trips to Omaha do they have? Give me the boom-or-bust kid over some mediocre peers any day.

- We can give him whatever he needs. Money? Done. Facilities? Done. Fan support? Best in the nation. Volunteers are a bunch of arrogant, reactionary, chittalking fools. They've never appreciated a real coach or success in any sport, I guarantee they'll be at Vitello's throat THIS YEAR if he drops a single game in Omaha. Yes the pressure is higher here, but we aren't a bunch of fair-weather fans playing in a high school softball field. Plus, he doesn't have to wear that awful orange puke any more.

If the guy doesn't pan out, our legacy and brand will still be here. If he's the real deal, we'll be the best damn baseball organization outside of the Bronx. I want to see batflips and homeruns with that same attitude in The Box every effin weeked!

Vitello would be interesting, just wonder how much Tenn would give up to keep him. Corbin would be an unbelievable hire, in that I can't see him leaving with the scholarship thing Vandy has going on. If nothing is mentioned after the supers, then we should know its one of the teams still playing right? LSU wouldn't wait until after Omaha just cause right?

For you Bianco idiots if Mike Bianco leaves to come to LSU I bet Godwin is the new Ole Piss coach and that is a huge win for them and I don't want to see that happen.

I’d be ecstatic with McDonnell, Corbin, Vitello

I’d be mildly disappointed with Godwin, Bakich, or Bianco, but I do at the same time feel all would do well at LSU

I want: McDonnell, Corbin, Godwin, Vitello, Bakich. Any one of these would make me happy.

I predict: Bianco.

Where there’s smoke (not Laval) there’s fire.

This is shaping up to be a good old boy hire that Woodward will be pressured into making.
