You never disappoint with your embarrassingly terrible takes.
Perhaps Sloan was a bit hampered by having a QB who’s 1st instinct is to immediately retreat 15 yards backwards as soon as he touches the ball, who either can’t or refuses to run, and who’s 2nd instinct is to give the ball to the other team.
I love Nuss and think he could still be good. And I think HE was hamstrung by a very mid, by LSU standards, WR corps that’s dealt with injuries all year, an incredibly disappointing OL, and almost zero running game. We have 2 playable RBs, one is 137 years old, and the other is a true freshman playing with 2 dislocated toes.
But all those also made it really hard on Sloan to call plays too. And Nuss’s poor play the last month, no matter how far you bury your dumb fricking head in the sand, was a big part of the problem. But there were plenty of problems to go around and they all compounded on each other to where it’s hard to tell where most of the blame should fall. Maybe Sloan did the best just about anybody could with what he had to work with. Maybe Nuss did too. Or maybe they’ve both sucked. Who knows?
What I do know, and what you’re too goddamn stupid to comprehend, is the irony of you being your own worst enemy when it comes to Nuss and having to embarrass yourself weekly making posts and threads to defend him. You created this. It’s on you and your ilk. Nobody hates Nuss, we fricking hate you for the way you consistently shite on one of the 2 best QBs in LSU history, who had one of the 2 best statistical seasons in college football history, and your unwavering commitment to it and refusal to simply concede that you were wrong.
Our hatred of you for being an ugly stain on the LSU fan base gets unfairly projected onto Nuss. Do you really not understand that all your racist and wrongness in trying to diminish Jayden the past 3 years has significantly contributed to a lot of the Nuss “hate” and created the very climate that makes you feel compelled to come on here week after week and embarrass yourself with your gaslighting, trying to tell us we’re not really seeing what’s staring us in the face? Are you seriously that fricking dumb and un-selfaware? Are you that big an a-hole? Never mind. You don’t need to answer that. It was very much rhetorical.

I don't understand this view at all.
Underwood was all in on LSU, hadn't taken a meaningful visit to any school at all this year, including Michigan.
Him and his family did and said all the right things, including publicly refuting Michigan's offers, talking about his enrollment date with LSU etc.
Not sure how any coach would have been able to see him flipping, even Saban would have been in the dark on this one.

Now as far how the offense looks, you can't tell me that Underwood watched Michigan's pedestrian offense this year and decided, "yeah I want to play in that offensive system with those skill players". A bad as LSU's offense is this year is it;s been dynamic when compared to Michigan's offense this year. I'm sure Michigan probably promised him a new offensive coordinator with a wide-open system.
I’d be shocked if they didn’t promise him that. And I disagree that he was playing LSU against Michigan all along. I think he was genuinely, 100% intending on coming to LSU. But it wasn’t LSU’s offensive ineptness. It was Michigan’s that changed things. Those rich arse alumni finally got a long forgotten taste of a national championship last year, and realized how much they liked it and how much they hated what they were watching this season, and decided to open up their checkbooks and put the full court press on Underwood and some other top end guys.
frick going 7-5 or 6-6 after going 15-0 and winning the NC last year when they could remedy that real quick by just throwing money at it. Pocket change money to them. If Michigan was sitting at 8-0 and ranked in the top 3 right now, I don’t think they’d have been so desperate, and Underwood would still be committed to and signing with LSU in 2 weeks.

I am fricking ready. I promise to not kiss the players. Well I'll try not to anyway lol.

More likely Sloan is out after this year and he gave BU a heads up.
Maybe he’ll even hire Sloan as a personal trainer with his own money and fire the Michigan QB coach.

12 million dollars? And I think the offense was the cause?

Underwood just cost him his job.
His failure as an OC should be what costs him his job, not having Underwood string him along then bail.
He's horrible at play calling. He needs to either be demoted or let go.

It's always funny to watch Rantards try to judge something as intricate as playcalling

It’s hard for me to judge his play calling, when Nuss has been awful.

The entire unit has struggled to execute consistently, it's completely impossible to judge who is at fault from the outside looking in.
Of course, tRant always blames coaching so it's Sloan's fault. I'm sure there will be some melts if he ends up keeping his job.

racist in your irrational hatred for Jayden
Youre so clueless, you just make shite up
I didnt blast JD for anything. I never called for Nuss, especially after his interception spree in that spring game. I didnt care much after Myles left. I said that JD being a dual threat never got us into the 12 team playoff mix. So dual threat isnt the answer, But cling to that narrative. And throw a little racism in for good measure
Youre such a punk arse phony, because you never got over how poorly Jefferson played after he took the job from an undefeated JLee. And was the worst performing QB in BCS history. Never scored a point. Never crossed the 50 yd line. But you knighted like hell. Because he was a dual threat. He wasnt actually. He was never a passing threat. Les had to keep calling Lees number to bail JJ out in the passing game

So its Sloans fault that we are weak in almost every offensive position.
One year ago he was the best. Coached a heisman trophy, 1st round draft pick QB. Probably NFL Rookie of the year.
This year with no running game, half an OL, putrid defense, mediocre receivers, and its all the OCs fault.
No wonder Brady couldn't wait to get out of BR after 1019.
Orgeron must be the most intelligent Coach on the planet. Left this wretched program with satchel full of thousand dollar Bills. laughing all the way to the Beach. Ahhh Life is Good! Geaux Tigers!

Maybe BK gets a new STRENGTH coach.

Joe Sloan at this point in time is stealing money. He isn’t very good. I have no sympathy
