So why do people want Godwin? What glory has he done over there? He has not gotten to final four teams in Omaha and has not won the championship in Omaha with his less talented team. Basically as I see it just as well of a talented recruiter and head coach as is Bianco. I don't get it with these two guys what does some lsu fans and Lau office see in these two guys. They have not won in the big one in Omaha have not won conference championship and don't get to Omaha consistently. Vitello is up and coming and very good as you can see.

I have a feeling that Bianco is getting slow played as he has the least leverage of the coaches and needs an out. I’m betting SW has secured Bianco’s interest and is casting a line or two for a bigger fish.

My left field hire is Link Jarrett. Has Notre Dame absolutely popping, and did well at UNCG for all the people that hate Vitello's "unproven record".

I would really like to see what O’Connor would do at LSU. I know some people would bring up the Paul link but he’s not the same type of manager. I haven’t heard a thing about him so probably just wishful thinking.

The AD has said the off-site stadium is a no-go because Tony wants to play on campus and supposedly renovations will be in writing before a contract will be signed.
I will say LSU is the only school I've been worried about poaching him simply because it's LSU. As an early 40s single millionaire, Tony has really enjoyed Knoxville and I knew he wasn't going to College Station or most of the other SEC schools unless they were offering stupid money.

I'm going to hope for Vitello even if it sets me up for Disappointment. If we hire Bianco I'll still be disappointed anyway.

I don’t know any detail on any of these guys but Corbin has been a tremendous coach. Seems like he has accomplished more than Blanco or vitello. Personally don’t like Vitello demeanor

We are waiting on Corbin. That's what I've been saying all along since his name first got brought up a week ago or so. It makes too much sense. We interviewed Bianco and Godwin as our backup plans if we don't get Corbin. That's my logical opinion and I'm sticking to it.
