I don’t know any detail on any of these guys but Corbin has been a tremendous coach. Seems like he has accomplished more than Blanco or vitello. Personally don’t like Vitello demeanor
It seems like Corbin has accomplished more to you bc he has accomplished more than both vitello and Bianco combined. It's not even close. Then, take into account that he's built his elite reputation at a school like vandy, where you can only recruit a certain type of player with a certain background and mental prowess bc of their stringent entrance requirements. He's by far and away the best coach of the bunch. I hope we land him. Corbin is what's known as a "sure thing". He'll win national titles at lsu and build our program back into a powerhouse if he accepts the opportunity. Vanderbilts baseball program was lower than whale shite, like they are in every other sport, before he took over there. He built that program into what it is today all by himself. Just imagine the caliber of success he would have at a program like lsu with all of our benefits and resources.

Notice how Vitello is never mentioned and that dude is definitely a candidate.
I don’t want him. He’s unproven and we are a proven program. We can’t risk the program on an unproven coach.

Vitello is not a SW hire.He swings for the fences. He goes
after coaches who have had alot of success not one hit
wonders.

A bit of an insult to call Vitello a “one-hit wonder”.

Tell me how long Vitello has been a head coach

1. They absolutely lowers their standards for athletes. Everyone does. They have a 9.1% acceptance rate and their average student has an ACT score between 33-35. You think they really just find incredibly smart player AND have the #1 recruiting class every year?
2. Being a private university they can hand out need based scholarships all they want and don’t have to disclose them.

I would be surprised if is Vitello. Just does't seem like a Woody hire. I think he would be successful at LSU.

Does LSU use academic scholarships to supplement athletic scholarships for the baseball team?

It’s going to be David Esquer.
SW is about to bean everyone with the curve ball.

Really? So how many championships did Jimbo win at FSU before Woodward tossed 75 million dollars at him?
You don’t know shite about Woodward except what you read here.

Bean with a curveball, huh? Well that’s dumb.
How about a fastball in the flap instead?

Fisher, Mulkey, vitello. Which doesn't fit?

Is this the first time people have been through a hiring process? Teams are still playing, why would you hire someone when you haven’t interviewed your potential top candidate yet?
