He decided to forgo a good experience and support his teammates for his own selfish reasons he obviously hasn't learned as he continues to make mental mistakes after mental mistakes. .

The level of shite this kid is getting is unwarranted. His failures are a direct reflection on coaching. You don’t go from chucking it for 4500 yards, being a top three round draft pick, and a Heisman hopeful to being benched because you suck.

Some other shite happened, including injury, and he was made to play through it when he shouldn’t have or the coaching didn’t properly adjust to his limited skill set or the O Line play made him jumpy because he was getting brutalized every other play or whatever.

But it isn’t that he sucks. He is a good football player and a good QB. I think most of his shortcomings lay at the feet of the coaches.

The hate for nuss shows how ignorant fans are. In the era of players transferring when they don’t start immediately, he stuck around and waited his turn. He wanted to be a tiger his entire career and that’s not something you see anymore. The vile shite I see idiots on here posting about him is pathetic.

Yep, as a life long Saints/Tigers fan……I never thought I’d come to despise both fanbases.

They have become so fricking ignorant

You could see the decision working out for LSU/Nuss if it paid off in his progress for LSU this year. It didn’t help him progress at all

We can agree to disagree. I do not think he is a good QB. I think he will get a shot to prove himself in the NFL. I wish him the best.

Oh please. He’s not a kid. He’s made about 4 million playing a game. He’s what. 22 or 23 years old. At 21 I had already fought in a war making pretty much nothing. He got a free ride for a good education. I joined the army for my college.

I wish for his sake he had went in the draft . This offensive line is so bad. It ruined him. Hes expecting to get blasted every play which he is. He was a 4000 yard passer last year that don't happen by accident. The entire staff on offense regressed.

Once you accept nil money you are a pro and opened up to all the criticism. He has regressed big time ,it is what it is.

Explain the regression. Because, again, last season he looked very good and we all thought we had another Burrow/Daniels type QB on our hands. So did all the media.

Then he struggled all year. Why?

He is a fifth year senior, engaged to be married and made somewhere between three and four million. This year. I wish my kids could have it so good and still be considered kids by liberal apologists.

That’s a fair criticism. The offensive line, the offense itself, and Nuss all regressed. Some people believe Nuss will improve once he gets out of here, but I do not. We will see. Nuss will get his opportunity to prove himself. I wish him nothing but the best. I have no ill will towards him

Nuss is what he always has been… a dude who makes questionable decisions but has a fricking cannon for an arm.
Give him a decent oline and NFL wideouts? 4000 yds.
But he still made bad decisions. Even in the games where he threw for 400 yds and 4 TDS he’d have an INT where you be like WTF was that?

This year with subpar oline? All his flaws were magnified.

I appreciate his commitment to the program. Good luck to him in the pros. They are gonna chew him up and spit him out. Glad he got his NIL.

Nuss was paid millions and gave no effort to earn it. He deserves all the criticism he's getting. Came to camp completely out of shape and unprepared. He is mentally and physically lazy.

Men his age commanded troops into certain death onto the beaches of Normandy.

He’s playing football and making remarkable wealth to do it.

I’m upset for him too but this isn’t the proper defense of the situation.
