has a target on his back because he has made it evident that if you rough him up you get him off his game.

He has complained about being dbs being physical all year. Which means he doesn't like it. Which in the NFL world means you do it to get in his head.

And all he has to show for it is the best start for a WR in NFL history

I'd like to think he won't be as affected moving forward considering the negative publicity he's received plus the suspension.

Sometimes the best way to learn is the hard way.

Norman gave the playbook to taking OBJ off his game.

Refs won't allow db's to play the way Norman was playing again. The refs were crazy to let all that crap go as long as they did. It should have been shite down at the body slam.

Norman probably did OBJ a favor though. Odell will learn from this and become a better player. Norman didn't discover some secret playbook on how to defend Beckham. He got him this time, but it's not like he was the first one to try that crap.

because when you wait too long to "apologize," it gives the impression that his handlers made him do it for damage control. You can tell when a guy knows he screwed up and an apology is sincere - and that isn't the case here.

Gonna be hard for people on this board to handle that, since OBJ played here. If he played for Bama, this site would be up in flames over this incident.

I agree! This was not a quick flare up that got out of control in a heartbeat, but a game long thing. While the players were largely responsible, both the refs and coaching staffs share some blame for events as well. imo

I believe the DB fine was a statement from the NFL that DBs were going to be watched more closely down the road.

Your right-(sarcasm). NFL refs would allow any dbs to play physical with OBJ moving forward-(sarcasm) & quit puting words in my mouth. I didn't say anything about a secret playbook. I used the term, "playbook" to describe a playing style.

Not this

I wasted my time replying to you. Just read some of your other posts. Pointing out your deficiencies on the other hand, not a waste of time.

The target will be bigger than ever. Norman gave the playbook to taking OBJ off his game

Hardly. Despite being shut out in the 1st half, OBJ still finished the game with 6/76 and a TD. He is one of the biggest stars in the NFL and if there is one thing the NFL does well, its protecting to it's marquee players. The only reason OBJ was suspended was because he initiated intentional helmet to helmet contact. He would have been better off going after Norman's knee and tearing it up with this new Will Smith movie "Concussion", coming out tomorrow.

You're saying all Norman did was play physical?

You're right about one thing, well half right, you wasted everyone's time with your response.

Evidently the NFL believes so. Norman wasn't punished.

What was Norman doing on your TV? He played physical on mine.

Norman can't check OBJ if his head is in the game. OBJ should have had 140 and two TDs if not for that one drop. The one thing Norman did was get him angry enough to fight and not focus. Right now no corner in the league can truly check OBJ.
