as you very well mentioned, as loss is a crisis. Thank you for pointing out the reason I started the thread.

Yes...but every crisis is not a loss (in other words, does not result in a loss).

This really has you stumped, doesn't it? I find this amusing.

This seemed like just another Miles bashing thread based on the above.

Mardi Gras, I agree with your basic premise that Miles in general does not appear to ever be too upset with a couple of losses, but you may reaching on this one.

Nope, not stumped at all, but I appreciate your ability to read Miles' mind. Here ya go...I'll laugh along with you.

Nah, I support Miles, even if I don't always agree with everything he does as a coach.

You know, I probably should have taken into account that Miles cannot communicate effectively, thus my error in thinking he may be discussing losses. Thanks for the reply TigerWaffe.

I'm fully aware of the what could be considered a crisis and, as you very well mentioned, as loss is a crisis.

I'm sorry, but, a loss is not a crisis . . . it is one of the possible outcomes of a crisis.

Miles is trying to give an excuse for the losses . . . i.e. if you have 3 crises each year, you could have 3 losses that are not entirely your fault, just part of the way the game is.

Your welcome.

Being called ignorant by the ignorant always amuses me.

There you go. Identifying an area in which you are ignorant is crucial when you are taking steps to rectify a situation...

The Les Miles lovers understand all his quotes and think they are well thought out and easy to understand, morons understand morons.

Huh? Ooooh, you meant "you're welcome". Sorry, I had to adjust my thinking down to your level of inferior grammar skills. Kinda makes it hard for you to call folks "stupid" when your stupidity shines so bright.

He's talking about 3 or 4 moments during the season that can be considered crisises. How did you get 3 to 4 losses a year out of that? They've got some dense people on this board.

...says the guy whose original post read:

I can't see where he'd be talking about anything other than losses

Most people are able to comprehend what Miles was saying.

Apology accepted. If you REALLY want to get nit-picky... and can handle being corrected by somebody with inferior grammar skills - Punctuation at the end of a quote belongs inside the quotation marks.

Just THIS quote. You could say most of Miles' quotes are odd.

You could say they are bumbling, inarticulate, disjointed, rambling, obtuse and lack substance or meaning. All of the above would be correct.

A conversation between Les and Sarah Palin would be like the Jabberwocky talking to Edith Bunker.
