Just trying to get some buzz surrounding the game....yes i know its practice....but most practices arent on ESPN for the nation to see....with no other football on at the time...its huge..and only good things can occur from having as many fans in the stadium as possible.....what better things do most people have to do than to go get some tailgate practice in...see the tigers....stress free game.....anyone taking the time to post negative things in this thread is a douche...and not worth any responses after this.......GEAUX TIGERS

What a dumb statement. Practice tailgating? Yes, I have better things to do. Again, sorry to bust your bubble, but spring football games are pointless and irrelevant. Nobody cares if 9 people show up, or 90,000. Calm down.

I'll be there and hosting a large tailgate as always.
I think it will be an embarassment for LSU on the spring game when only 15K attend. Oklahoma, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Tenn, etc....all have huge crowds for the spring game.
Penn State in particular promote it big time with a carnival type atmosphere and all alumni are invited and brought in for the event. They get a ton of donations that way.
LSU simply does not care about the event nor promote it.
LSU should make it a 6pm game, tiger band, cheerleaders, etc...highly encourage tailgating... LSU just bitches because they cant find people to run the concession stands yet most other major schools do so.

I really think this "look good for recruits" logic is played out and over-used. I really don't think some kid that wants to come to LSU will change his mind if the stadium is 80% empty for the meaningless clusterfrick that is the spring game.

amen brotha....15K = embarassment.....50k or more = good showing .....if it looks like our fans dont even care about the team why the hell will people(and recruits) care about it that live far away.....even a recruit from across the country has to like seeing a spring game on TV with a full stadium.

My wife and I are coming down from Memphis for the Spring Game. None of our kids have been in Tiger Stadium before, and we figured this would be a LOT easier to manage than a home game for now. I'm looking forward to it.

I think that if you don't attend the spring game ( of course reallistically, not for people who would have to travel more than 2 - 2 1/2 hrs ), I will be traveling about 1 hr 45 min., you should have no right to comment on here about the negatives. Hopefully the spring game will show us some new and exciting things to look forward to. If you are not there in person to see everything then STFU. Time to start being positive for next season until given reason otherwise. And that includes myself. I have been very negative since mid-way through last season.
