I thought this was always your problem with Moffit was that he made guys to big and strong and thus slow in your opinion.
yeah well if he can't even make guys big and strong wtf is he doing?

no shite
Moffit is one of the most highly regarded S&C coaches in the nation...and gets guys in football shape to play for LSU, not work out for the combine.
SFP looks like an idiot every time he dogs this dude. He has had a hand in 2-3 national title teams. I think he knows what he is doing.

Hype is for tools like you.........all have a career and millions in the NFL.......
I guess you missed the 41 players on rosters in the NFL more than USC, Miami, Florida, Georgia, OSU.........

The 4 examples posted have nothing to do with Moffitt. Once a player leaves LSU, they hire their own trainers.

Moffitt is ridiculously overrated. There's no innovation to his methods. Pretty standard, cookie cutter stuff. That being said, i don't think it;s his fault

Just another point to prove SFP wrong. This guy is unbelievable.

because he's very lazy and has an unhealthy lifestyle.

Slow legit question.
If we're moving to a spread option offense...do we really NEED the big OL anymore? Obviously there is no excuse for them being worked over like they are but at the same time, do you think it would be better if we fully committed to the spread option?
IMO it would give us more:
-Outside runs, KW is pretty good at this
-Quicker passing, take the pressure off JJ and let the WRs and RBs make plays
-Take pressure off the OL

right, so its moffit's fault
you opinion on moffit is a joke, Jake. give it up.
He is paid by LSU to get players ready to play for LSU. These guys are performing enough on the collegiate level under Moffit for LSU and in turn get drafted in the 1st round because of it.
Same thing he did for Tennessee. And Miami.
I think he knows how to get football players into shape. And i highly doubt you know anything about that.
get a clue

I really sense sarcasm here because the whole Gayle Hatch disciple is real uninnovative.

Wrong... actually someone close to the program posted LSU's Summer work out routine or plan on a weightlifting website before this season and everyone was really impressed with the complexity of it. It was linked on either this website or tigerbait... so go suck a dick.

Moffit is pretty overrated (then again, so is every S&C coach by their own fanbase), but he isn't the root of all of LSU's problems.

no
but we NEED zone blocking and coaching to install this. our guys look lost out there running zone blocking

No need for much innovation.
you do what works
he's had his hands in 4 national championship teams
What makes him overrated? that he is on the top of his profession, and you are some gym club trainer that thinks he knows more than Moffitt?
