then again, so is every S&C coach by their own fanbase

fact

when i bring up moffit, it's more to bring this up. it's not that he sucks, it's just that just about every fanbase has their own moffit

moffit sucks so bad nick saban tried to take him to miami and then to alabama, and then when he couldn't get him he hired a guy who learned how to coach from moffit.

Moffitt is ridiculously overrated. There's no innovation to his methods. Pretty standard, cookie cutter stuff. That being said, i don't think it;s his fault

No innovation necessary. The BEST results are seen by sticking with the basics. I haven't really noticed anybody sucking wind to badly yet.. but the interior OL is VERY weak (small too).

but we NEED zone blocking and coaching to install this. our guys look lost out there running zone blocking

Oh no doubt. I just think that is at LEAST half of the problem. IMO it is pretty unrealistic of the staff to expect us the team to be able to run two sets like this.

Seems like if we're making the move...we might as well commit now and take our lumps. I think it would be much better for the long run.

If Moffitt walked out of BR tommorrow he'd have a job at a top 5 collegiate program by lunch.........

Only 4 other S&C coaches could say the same........MAYBE.

Does Moffit then get credit for Marcus Spears's weight loss this offseason or is he only to blame when Spears gains weight even though he's been out of the LSU weight program for a few years?

Yep. I pegged this years ago. I remember Michigan fan's saying how Lloyd's guy was beastmode and then once RR came in and brought ol' boy from WVU, the players went on and on about having to do squats because they never did them.

Countless examples of this. Every fanbase thinks they have the MOST ELECTRIFYING RETURN MAN IN THE NATION~ and every fanbase thinks they have the best S&C coach in the country.

To Moffit's credit, both were marginal talents when they were signed by LSU.

Both were 4* recruits.

that's funny, because i always thought it was so you could complain about how weak, slow and unathletic our players are.

they may, but LSU does. No really, they do.

you dont know what you are talking about if you think Moffitt is just another run of the mill S&C coach.

oh, and dont ever compare LSU to a Big 10 school. Especially Michigan

Its an absolute fact Carr was a soft coach when it came to stuff like that

Wrong... actually someone close to the program posted LSU's Summer work out routine or plan on a weightlifting website before this season and everyone was really impressed with the complexity of it. It was linked on either this website or tigerbait... so go suck a dick.

everybody meaning the average "how many ways can i do a bench press" ranter? I've seen it, I know it. It's no better or worse than the program designed and performed by the guys that are driving our Oline's dick in the dirt

Could it be that this is nothing to do with strength and conditioning, but rather lack of coaching, including coaching the proper technique?

1 of those plays was a pass and the other involved the QB falling down

our guys WERE so tired that moo state ran the ball at us that entire drive down the field
