Which they will use the same argument they use in football
SEC plays SEC and their SOS will never drop, they will start high and stay high. We don't have to play anyone good out of conference (stupid). There is certainly a basic lack of understanding of how RPI works amongst them
Which of course is ridiculous when you realize the fact that we had 6 teams Make super regionals
If they want to school us on sports knowledge maybe they can try a sport like beach volleyball or rowing to talk shite about

So... the SEC has 10 CWS championships since 1990, and the PAC12 has 5.

Hell the SEC didn't start taking baseball seriously until the mid 80's...look how long it took us to become the biggest player in the sport

Well... I guess the point is that since 2010, neither LSU or OSU have won, or made the CWS finals.
Maybe that will change this year? Who ever makes it out of our side of the bracket, is going to win it all.

I don't think he'll play and I think that's the correct move.
The University has been pretty tight lipped about it and lawyers are involved behind the scenes. There was an official statement from school President but it was pretty much what you'd expect - "we're deeply troubled by this and we are investigating.."
I think there's some major damage control going on because it exposed a big gap in the admissions process. Apparently we don't ask anywhere along the way, nor does the Athletic Dept (I don't know if that's commonplace at other schools or not). The county is supposed to send a list of registered sex offenders in the area to the university for review/cross check against the student body and then the university is supposedly dealing with those individuals enrolled on a case by case basis. Somewhere along the way, either it didn't happen, the list wasn't checked or people knew all along and hoped it wouldn't ever come out.
