7. Not bringing in transfer QB

Don’ agree here. Brennan was playing very well before the injury. And no quality transfer was going to come here to be the backup.

We were set up as a team that was one injury away from starting a true freshman.

So. We are far from the only team in this spot and we have seen true freshmen be very successful at QB.

Again, what quality transfer QB was going to come here to be Brennan’s backup?

Funny, you don’t see shite like that coming out of other “elite” programs. It’s 2020, everyone has a camera. And, the bullshite at midfield at BD stadium wasn’t “a private moment” that got leaked by a player.

From Saturday Down South

Still on the field after the big win, which ended an eight-game losing streak in the series, Orgeron declared, “Right here in the middle of the damn field, because this is our house from now on, Tigers on three, one, two three, Tigers!”

Yes there’s been a lot of crazy posts over the past 12-18 hours. But I think they’re completely warranted.
For the most part I feel like the rant has handled itself pretty well given the circumstances. But everyday another damning bit of info comes out and is made available to the public. And with the latest being Gilbert is probably gone, and that there’s more names, not being released yet, following suite.. it’s just that straw that’s breaking the camels back.
We are fed up. It’s one thing to have a low year when you lose more starters than expected and COVID comes along and messes up the pre-season. But everything else that’s happened/still happening is just unwarranted and honestly down right unacceptable.
I say let the crazy posts fly. They’re well deserved at this point.
Sad part is.. with LSU’s history, it’s going to get even worse before somebody with authority stands up and said ENOUGH!!

Not showing more support then he did when it came to the social injustice

there was no social injustice in the news, that was fake news to stir division in the country, a head coach needs to tell his ignorant indoctrinated athletes what social media and media is capable of doing to their line of thinking...not to mention biased indoctrinated professors and the damage they do on a daily

Floyd was a repeat criminal, ate fentanyl when he was being arrested for counterfeit money, was the driver, had two complete strangers in his vehicle at the time, a real quality person worth destroying cities over?

Floyd resisted arrest, said he couldn't breathe 20 times before the knee video went viral. these are facts, buy you to wait before you think you know what happened and young people don't do this...

a head coach needs to say "you act like this floyd character, you will never play in the NFL or here at LSU, you better be focusing on grades and personal development, because if you're going to march for a repeat criminal, pack your bags now!"

Breanna Taylor, another black woman who made very bad decisions in boyfriends... O could tell the team "would you be the boyfriend who was peddling drugs the police force was tracking down, is that you? Armed and shooting at officers who are banging on the door?"

If you're that kind of young man and you're bringing fire arms into to your girlfriend's apartment, you're not welcomed here at LSU"

Social justice is paying for what you do around the law and law enforcement. Character is everything...skin has nothing do with any of it...stop lying to yourselves, stop listening to that evil media twitter machine!

Correct. Courage and character would have led him to condemn it.

I think O deserves the lions share of the blame, but don’t let the players off to easily. They took way to many victory laps after the NC last season and lost focus on this season.

And none of that bothered me then and none of it bothers me now. O has done plenty wrong as head coach of LSU. The things he said and did after the Bama game last year are very low on that list.

I remember a few years ago when CEO was hired he said he learned his lessons from his time at Ole Miss.

I think he has regressed back to that type of Ed. Screaming at people is one example.

So many of his hiring decisions are based on ego and what he believes to be a good football program. He is ignoring that this is a new generation of football with high octane offenses and flexible defenses. Yet he is still in the “3 yards in a cloud of dust“ club

I actually agree with most of them. I love coach O and what he accomplished last year. best team ever...
-You cant have a Jr and two true freshman qb's going into the year and not have a backup plan even if it hurts his feelings.
-changing the defense scheme without the horses to run it.
-NCAA allowing Opt outs really hurt us. unlike any other team.
-Ruffled feathers with Pelini and a lot of players left thinking they weren't a fit.

If the wheels continue to fall off like they are doing they have to make a change. And Freeze would be the first call. he does "more with less" than anyone i've ever seen.

Both Aggie and Alabama are currently in the same boat. Several other programs are actually starting true freshmen.

ETA Why would a transfer QB come in when everyone made it clear that Brennan was the guy?

Has zero to do with the Mississippi State loss and most that followed.

It was obvious after that first game that this time had major problems, none of which had anything to do with the quarterback position.

A transfer QB would not fix the issues with this team.
