We are talking about 2 different comments. I am not talking about when he said all glory goes to God.

Dabo is annoying but I don't think that's what he meant by saying all the glory goes to God.

Agreed but he does a poor job explaining

I see no issue with thanking God for my good health and talents. Others may not have been gifted those, in particular, but God gives us all our own unique gifts. I was unable to have children and adopted. Should I resent all the woman who give birth? I thank God for the miracle he gave me instead of the losses I endure.

If you'll kindly link me to where Dabo said they won due to God’s favor, I'll gladly admit I was wrong. No sarcasm, I never saw or heard him say that.

Pretty sure God likes LSU better than Clemson... game is in Louisiana where local Saints normally gather.

That’s the feeling I get.
I coached football for many years, but I or our teams never prayed for anything but the health of both teams and ability to perform to their abilities.

Religion and sport/politics just don’t mix.

And guess what, as the OU kids came out, the vast majority took a knee and prayed. I guess either their Protestant god was off, or favored LSU.

It’s all nonsense and Dabo uses his religion to recruit and build his program. That’s what comes across so irritating to many.

If you wear your religion on your sleeve, you don’t have religion.

No but Steve Jobs gave us a predictive texting system that just types what it wants sometimes.

I agree, it’s just a total misrepresentation of the Gospel. This fits perfectly with the blasphemous help & prosperity message espoused by heretics like Joel Olsteen.

Here we go. Anytime someone gives credit to god is a good thing. Unless of course you are a nonbeliever then you want to take crosses out of cemeteries or take away in god we trust etc. Did the pastor have any comment or complaint about a coach dropping the f bomb on t.v. or was he o.k. with that?

He said they were in God’s favor. Whether you believe in God or not, that is a horse shite way of thinking when comparing yourself to anyone else.
