so slo, when exactly did i say he was a monster on the field? I said having your act together off the field transfers to good things on. That applies to anybody. The guy is 5'4" and is ON the team. That seems like great on the field results to me. It's all relative, so don't come in here talkin' all that jive and hibbidy-jibbidy.

Hmmm I don't seem to recall many "play Elice Parker threads."

He's a 5'4 midget who has been given a chance to dress out and run out the tunnel. He isn't owed shite

If Lipoma got 12 or so carries at the spring game, to me it means that Ford will probably not be red-shirted.

I don't see those two things being related at all...I do wonder why he got those carries and Calhoun didn't, maybe he was dinged up.

After this kid gave four years of his life to the practice squad, he should get on the field for a few plays in a rout of one of the lesser teams on the schedule. For Miles not to do that would be a tragedy. My two cents worth.

There are about 30 of those kids on the team every year.

Even in blowout games, it's nearly impossible to get these kids on the field.

this guy has the heart of a lion FWIW.
Maybe so, but he's got no business getting 14 carries in the spring game over Murphy, Drayton Calhoun or anyone else who needs the reps.

Nothing against the kid, more of a statement about the coaches decision making.

That's being generous. More like 155- 160.

agree on Calhoun, Murphy was in quite a bit with RS, but I think they wanted to focus on Sheppard throwing the ball. A lot of walk-ons played, at one point the entire starting D was in except for 3 walk-on linebackers. Ian Harding played quite a bit as well.

Calhoun may have had an injury, I don't think he played any.

Are you speaking from experience cause you know him or are you just assuming (and you know what they say about assuming) Pat is one of the strongest on the team (pound for pound)

Yea he could have gone to SLU or another school but who wouldn’t want to be a Tiger. Even if he does not play a game in his career he is still making our Tigers a better team and if you can’t seem to understand that well you might want to question your fan hood and ask yourself why you have to demean people on a website and not just give credit where credit is due.

Besides it was a spring game that was uneven from the beginning. It’s not like the game was meant to have any other outcome than a blowout.

I rationalize it as Lipoma was playing the role of TH so the offense could run the offensive sets designed for TH.

I was eating lunch with him in the union a few weeks back and he really seems to have his act together very well off the field,

I guess we'll be seeing some "Practice Squad Bar & Grill" openings in Baton Rouge in the near future.
