IMO Bo Jackson was overrated. Give me Hershel any day over Bo. Bo was get but Hershel would knock the stuffings out of tacklers.

You don't compare Fournette to other running backs, you compare other running backs to Fournette.

Bo Jackson was a once-in-a-lifetime athlete. IMHO the best I have ever seen.

Pretty much agree with this. His combination of power, change of direction, and speed was ridiculous. That's not even mentioning his hand eye coordination and instincts.

Yeah. Until I see LF7 run up the left field wall; I will continue to fold.

Lf7 running style reminds me of Jim Brown. Bo didn't enjoy the contact he was more in the Eric Dickersom mode.

You do realize Chubb runs a high 4.4 to a low 4.5 he has enough speed to get it done and muscles his way through tackles, good feet, balance, and great vision. He looks like a young Dalton Hillard with good speed lol

Fournette will secure an elite RB status when he faces and destroys great SEC defenses. Moreso next year as well. I'm so thankful we recruited such a badass athlete. It contributes greatly to future recruiting too.

LF7 reminds me of LF7....NC27 reminds me of NC27 !

Comparing them to Jackson, Walker, Peterson is not fare or accurate
to all concerned.

Different times, coaching, competition ....etc....etc...

Chubb reminds him of AP? Really? I think chubbs a good back and I think he's one of the better backs in the league this year...but that's a bit much.

I think people don't point this out enough. It's largely accepted that defensive personnel are FAR more athletic and fast than they were back in Bo's day. Put Chub or Fournette in that era of football, and you might see similar play from them as we did Bo and the other greats. There's no real way to ever compare them. Just let them be their own form of greatness and enjoy telling your grandkids about how your RB could kick their RB's arse any day.

Bo has a poster of LF on his wall... Because LF is the most interesting running back in the world...

Fournette doesn't always run for 500 yds/game, but when he does its against Auburn this weekend.

....Stay runny, my friends.

I'm aware, he's probably even faster than that. Chubb ran a 10.69 100m in high school. Lynch never had "can't be caught" speed like Chubb and Fournette have.

Chubb's physical abilities are severely under rated on this board. He may be the strongest player in the country pound-for-pound

Why do LSU fans hate Paul Finebaum.

I was a little late to the party on Finebaum, I started listening to him in 2012, but I suppose he made some anti-LSU comments with these responses I'm getting.

I'm pretty indifferent, don't really follow him much. From what I gather from the Rant, he's a Bama homer.

Total Bama homer/douche. Wait till the week of the LSU-Bama game. Bama could be 0-8 and he'd still pick them to upset us.
