Who fricking cares about people leaving early during a scub matchup anyway?
I don't care that much about them leaving these games early. When they leave an SEC game with 5 min. left in the 4th quarter and the issue still in doubt-that I don't get. There are quite a few of them, and they can't all have such pressing business elsewhere that they can't stay to the end of the game.

I stay to watch the young guys get there chance. Quit looking at the scoreboard and watch the future of LSU football.

To the OP...I graduated LSU in 1977, so I'm well over 25. I drive to/from Metairie for every game. Yesterday, I should've stayed home in bed on muscle relaxers for a pulled back but I was in my East upper seats the whole game...so don't tell me how inconvenient it is.
As I said in another thread...those kids work hard at practice to entertain us. The least we could do is show the respect and appreciation by staying.
You do what you want. As for me and anybody with me...we see the end!

Worst sound system I've ever heard.
I will agree with this part. They removed the PA system from the south endzone and seems like they turned the volume up in the north endzone. Can't understand shite that the stadium announcer is saying because in the SEZ it comes out as garbled crap.

LOL.
Check out Tiger Stadium near the end of the 3rd quarter. All those people had left to "beat traffic". Tell me about how much traffic you're beating when half the stadium is leaving at the same time trying to "beat traffic".
I stayed the whole game, got to see LSU put an arse whopping on UAB, only sat in traffic for about 30 minutes and was back to Lafayette in an hour and a half. Quit being a bitch.

The thing that's funny is these people who keep saying "Give your tickets to real fans!!" must have not realize that at kickoff, the corners of both upper decks were not full..at all. Why didn't these so called poor innocent fans who can't get in the game because of the big bad rich halftime-leaving fans buy THOSE upper deck tickets?
Makes me think all those in these threads who keep telling everyone to sell their tickets to people who deserve them aren't even at the game themselves.

I don't leave town so I'm not trying to beat traffic. I'm just leaving to go finish the game at the tailgate or at walkons and get a head start on getting wasted again. Maybe chase some womenz.

I was stuck in traffic after the game was over also. The reason is when people begin leaving early the BRPD sit on their asses and allow the traffic on Highland to run its normal course. Then it's gridlock from Lee Dr. to the campus because those lazy fricks just sit on the hoods of their patrol car and watch. No contra flow down Highland until some people in line made their own contra flow and forced cars coming toward the campus off the road. I jumped in that line and we rode all the way to Lee. After that it was easy going.

Had 4 extra tickets last night and could not find a "real fan" that would take them for free. They are lower bowl tickets.
Then I remembered that all the "real fans" were on Tigerdroppings posting about the shitheads who are keeping tickets from them.

I never am in traffic when I leave an LSU game. Ever. Been to tons of games. Stayed to the end at all. Never sat in traffic. It's all a myth.

They leave early at SEC games. So it's not the competition. Most people who go to the games, do it as a luxury. They tailgate all day. Post their pics on Facebook etc. They hob nob for a while. Stay for part of the game, while taking their obligatory pics in the stadium to post also. And then leave early to go do something else. Basically they want to be seen there. But are not true fans. So the game, no matter who we play. Means nothing.

I don't like it when half the stadium is empty but this is today's world. However, last yr's Ms.State game was a joke, a close SEC game not really decided till Losten ran the int back late in the game..and there was barely half the crowd remaining. What I do get aggravated bout is those that leave early coming on here & pounding their chests about how great TS is. It is: for mabe 2 games a yr. Call someone a super fan or whatever, but those 68K who used to pack the real TS back in the days would be embarrassed at today's fans. And, yes, we drank & partied just as hard.
