Don't like all white. Did not like that the colors on the helmet were not consistent with the jersey. Schools with no winning tradition change uniforms, not the LSU Fighting Tigers.

An experienced marketing guy taught me that to build a valuable brand you've got to avoid the temptation to redesign everything year after year.

This is certainly true. However, I'm afraid that this stupid fad will be around for a while. As long as grown men like to wear the jersey of their favorite 20 year old player on their favorite college team, this branding nightmare will continue. The Athletic Dep't made a nice bundle of money from people who ran out and bought jerseys just for this one game. I predict that eventually, they will be tweaking the jerseys a little every year so that people will rush out and buy "this year's" jersey. Like the coach's polos, you'll one day be seeing them sell "last year's jersey" on the discount racks to make way for the "new jerseys" every single season.

No thanks. I am glad out pro combats were better than most of the ones I've seen, I liked em.

But I love our traditional white shirts on gold pans.

I wish our traditional unis were at least made of the pro combat materials. It is better, lighter, and wicks great. All good things for the players.

We have some of the best uniforms in CFB; why the hell would anyone want to mess with that!?

Because many kids, johnny come lately's (L.S.U. newbies) drunks/dopers with burned out brains and frustrated fashion designers that haven't come out of the closet yet have absolutely no historical perspective and could totally care less about L.S.U. football tradition.
