He was a leader during the offseason but has been radio silent since the season started. I don't want to speculate, but maybe it's something personal. He was a vocal leader even when he didn't play much or feature the last 2 years.
Unfortunately for him it looks like he's going to get another crack at it because if his play continues he has to come back.

There’s too many quiet leaders on this team and not enough arse chewers.

Are all good kids, but quiet and reserved. Frankly, Myles should have been lighting into asses on Saturday, especially the o-line.

If they were real leaders, everyone with 18 or 7 jerseys would put them in the middle of the locker room and say until those jerseys were earned they would not be worn.

The only guy I saw with leadership qualities would’ve been TJ, but once Auburn got film on him we saw what he’s actually capable of. Myles should be the leader, but his own teammates preferred TJ over him. You could see it in his social media... no one commended him when he had world beater games, but teammates were all over TJ after one pretty good game.
Terrace Marshall seems too quiet to be a leader. Jacoby Stevens sucks. I just don’t see any natural leaders on the team.

Love terrace but you can tell he is just getting his and moving on.
Thing is, I think these kids ni o we dont have the team this year.
