8-4 at best if we somehow beat Miami.
Opening games can be tricky.

My prediction: 7-5 or 6-6.

The real question is what happens if we lose to Miami and Auburn early and we fall on our face against tech like we did Troy?
The season could get real ugly real quick.

The rest are toss ups but I’ve got us 9 wins so far

Unfortunately, I see us going 7-5. That opener vs the U will dictate the season in my opinion. If we manage to get the W there, I can see it catapulting us to another echelon going into Jordan Hare a few weeks later. The bottom line is Aranda is going to have to earn that paycheck and win a couple games for us singlehandedly by holding a few teams under 10 points or so. Thankfully, I have great faith that our D can do just that. 10 wins would be a miracle only to prolong the misery of a coach O led Bayou Bengals squad. Best case 9 wins, but I won't be the least bit surprised when I get to take my sons to an LSU vs Wake Forest Walk ons Independence Bowl after having to win our last 3 games to qualify at 6-6.

Defense carries us to 7-5

Aranda and the guys we have on that side of the ball are too good to let us go completely off the rails

Offense has talent, but zero experience and a huge unknown at every level, including coaching.

Even in the best of scenarios, losing your best backs, wideouts, O-linemen, and starting QB lends itself to growing pains.

I'm expecting a worse version of our 2014 team.

If they lose bad to Miami and Auburn it’s just a countdown to when he is fired.
