Exactly! All this other crap is media trying to make a name by pure speculation and outright lying their asses off. I know all the facts in this concerning Wade have not come to light. I believe him when he says what is in the Yahoo reports doesn't come close to telling the whole story. These media scrubs report the worst things to get people stirred up and pique interest so they can make more money. It wouldn't make money if they reported something in the transcripts that makes Wade look not guilty of paying players. Other than BMT and my first child I've never wanted time to speed forward so we can get all the facts and find out what the NCAA is going to do. So sick of all the media that say this and that and don't know shite, tired of the speculation and lies. Ready for the whole truth to be told and get on with it. Now I just can't wait for football season to start.

He has a point: there is no way Wade gets fired and Alleva stays on board. It just won't happen.

Then that leaves us with a difficult question. Do we despise
Joe Alleva more than we love Will Wade?

Because they automatically think we are guilty without knowing all or any facts. Our enemies that we threaten with Wade at helm of LSU basketball would like him gone because of his quick success

Nah. Thats why they started with wade. New kid on the block, easier to pick on. They are hoping everyone steps up for adidas so that all of college basketball doesnt burn. Wade will be a sacrificial lamb either way. Bad part is Wade will just have to bend over and take it no matter what. If he goes throwing anyone under the buss you can bet your arse he is blackballed for life. Sucks.

I don't understand why so many people want to pretend that this is somehow amateur college athletics.

I honestly don't believe many people do pretend that. Only the NCAA and the media covering these sports still peddle the amateurism nonsense with a straight face.

And deep down, even they know they've enabled this culture to thrive with things like arbitrary enforcements of rule violations and multi-million dollar TV deals.

If they wanted to clean college sports up, it could've been done a long time ago. But they don't. They just hammer programs every once in a while to make the general public think they actually do something.

Dawkins will need witness protection from John Wick to dodge the suicides for guilt and subsequent media mourning his guilt and tired soul.

First, Wade isn’t under investigation by the FBI. There are people saying things to that effect, and that’s sloppy verbiage which is substantially wrong. What Wade is being dragged into is a federal case brought by the US Attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York against three men who work for Adidas, alleging that they’ve essentially been scamming universities and bribing college basketball coaches to steer players into shoe deals and to sign with sports agents. Where Wade has been dragged into the case is that he had a number of phone conversations with one of the men, Christian Dawkins – a middleman serving as a consultant for Adidas, who was in a position to broker recruits to coaches but apparently never actually brokered one to Wade.
Let's not pretend he was having conversations about doing things legally when the tap said he made strong offers to the players mother.

So I realize I’m somewhat of a hypocrite.
I've said same for myself, but not necessarily in this debate.

There is only rush to judgment, innuendo, incomplete information and agenda here.

My bias is apparent, but it's not based in I'll accept anything to win.

It's the subjective and selective choice of when something matters that bothers me the most.

If you're the only asshat cheating, frick off. If the entire game is rigged, you play the game.

If it means keeping Will Wade, I will have to stand behind Joe Alleva. Will Wade will go down as one of the best basketball coaches ever. We can’t afford to lose him.

Some Looney Coon certainly didn’t read the article and likely doesn’t have the intelligence to comprehend it.
