also lets not act like its uncommon for coaches to kick walkons and guys buried on the depth chart for one incident vs letting better guys get more chances. It is the way life is those that are better get more chances than those that are lucky to be on the team. It doesn't seem fair but life isn't fair

Way, WAY different scenarios. There are lots of details which many on this board probably know from the incident at the Varsity that makes this current scuffle pale in comparison.

A few years ago when Ryan Perriloux and a linebacker got in a fight at the Varsity Miles kicked the linebacker off the team pretty much immediately. Why not use the same standard and kick the four involved off the team now?
First of all, though you're deliriously hopeful that this is the same situation, it's not.
1. Ryan Perrilloux wasn't even in the bar, he was outside on the sidewalk with a girl.
2. The police were there quickly, unlike at Shady's. There was also plain video of it.
3. LB Derrick Odom, OL Zhamal Thomas and L Kyle Anderson were dismissed a few days after their
arrests. Perrilloux, again, was not even in the bar.
4. Since there apparently was no video of the Shady's Bar incident, police investigators are going by witnesses accounts and by each side's account of what happened.
Why in HELL would Miles kick all four off the team now ??????? If it warrants it, believe me, he will.
5. Why are you so giddily concerned?

This is correct and that is why such swift action was taken in that case. Similar action may still be taken in this case, but it will be after more interviews, etc.

Exactly what I thought. This guy must be truly worried about Bama not living up to expectations. Looks to be scared that the Tide is gonna play week sister to LSU and Arkansas in the West this year, and hoping we lose our QB.
Problem for TiderinBR is both of our QB's have more experience than Bama's. I expect Bama to have an offense about as good as Florida's last year with a new QB.
