Regardless of how shitty the pitching is, I sure do like JJ’s hitting approach as opposed to Mainieri. These guys are plenty old enough to learn a professional approach of being patient, waiting for the right pitch, and using all fields. Complete opposite of the jump on first pitch fastball approach of Mainieri’s teams.
