Maybe because it's plain as day to anyone with a brain these charges will get reduced to misdemeanors? If this weren't a case worthy of making the news that's probably already done by now.

Harris is going to get game 1. If he sticks to the gameplan and performs well, he will get game 2. I expect a short leash from Miles though. He's going to go back to Jennings the first chance he gets should Harris struggle.

here's hoping he does a great job, I pull for any tiger with all my heart, I think our coaches do a good job of who plays where and when .

Agree 100%. He has been working with the WRs/TEs via summer 7v7 drills, etc. He deserves the start, and obviously I hope he excels. Sched is a little different this year. He needs to hit the ground running vs McNeese, excel vs Miss St, and pay AUB back for last season's loss. GT!

It's not rocket science, all Harris has to do is not turn the ball over excessively. That's really the only thing that gets players benched under Miles.

I heard from sources close to the team that Jennings is considered the better player and Les will do anything from having to rely on Harris long term. That's not to say we can't get by with Harris in the starting spot early on and then move Jennings back to where he belongs

I heard from sources close to you that you don't know what the frick you're talking about.

See how I can do that too?

Fournette did an interview earlier and was asked a question about how running backs feel about the guy under center and if it matters. I'm summarizing here but his response was something to the effect of "Yeah it matters to us. The quarterbacks are the ones making the calls not the running backs. Brandon Harris...I wish they both could start."

To me it sounded like he started to say something about Harris and then caught himself and just kept it broad.

The problem with this prediction is that Harris probably won't be allowed to pass very much against McNeese. We will drill them, but prob not more than 8 to 10 passes. We should throw it about 30x, but Les wastes these games.

I'm hoping that CLM has learned from his mistakes from last year. He needs to throw it more and also get the younger guys some reps

Harris will look much more like he did against NMST for the first game and be ready to lead LSU to a SEC road win the following week. Revenge against Auburn at home will be sweet!

As mad as I was when Jefferson started the game after bama and/or when he started the NC game after not getting a 1st down in the first half of the SECC.

When we play McNeese, Cam needs to let Harris throw the ball 25 times or more. I think most of us will agree that LSU hasn't always maximized the opportunity to play cupcakes. Sure you want to get a lot of guys in for experience, come away without injuries, etc., but those are the best opportunities to create a rhythm for the passing game.

sure, Lee shite the bed in the Bama game, but he was obviously the better option in the Natty, right?

No he was not

-1 TD 8 ints in four appearances against Bama (only one was a full game)
-We could not block to save our lives. Let's just leave stationary, nervous wreck Lee go out there and throw ints off his back foot all game
-we could not run the ball, AT ALL, either

Didn't matter one bit, Lee would have more than likely performed much worse. You guys should be glad that he didn't go out there. It would have been Colt Brennan vs UGA Sugar Bowl bad.

Yeah Jennings clearly isn't the answer. Use him as a backup this year until etling and franks come then tell him it's probably in his best interest to transfer. He simply isn't good enough for the sec and NOTHING shows he is

Was he the better option though? Outside of one drive in 2010 he never played well against Bama.

Outside of the 1 drive? He threw a pass up for grabs that was wide open because the secondary had a breakdown. He is known for one good play in 4 appearances against Bama, yet people (not you) think he would have been better against the best or 2nd best defense this millennium on All-Madden revenge mode?

Jarrett Lee says "hi".

Yep. And Jefferson wet the bed multiple times throughout his career and still started. I remember Charles Hannagriff during the the Auburn post-game in 2010 saying, "Number 9 never needs to take another snap at LSU."

Jefferson was 7/14 with 45 yards and a pick. Eerily similar stats to his SEC and NC game stat lines.
