This question is too stupid to even address.

No need to. I live in Miami and I'm well aware of Saban's "NFL pedigree". He's a pretty average coach when he doesn't have a clear talent advantage.

Orgeron will have a "winning record" come next October.

So you think it makes sense to hire a coach that will need to ride LSU talent for 2 seasons just to get to .500 for their career?

He's better at running a program than he is a game day coach. But that's what works in college football. Run the program at a high level.

Did Nick Saban bleed crimson and white before taking the Alabama job?

Did Urban Meyer bleed orange and blue before taking the Florida job?

That crap doesn't matter one bit.

Lol using an interim record to base an argument is hilarious. An interim coach doesn’t use his own schemes he doesn’t run the program in any way a head coach does. A lot of people have been good fill in coaches but miserable head coaches when they have to run everything themselves. There is a reason USC didn’t hire him full time. It’s because he’s not qualified to run his own show. Period.

Qualifications for an LSU coaching job

1) Must have coached amicably with/for Orgeron at some point during the last 24 years.

2) Must be ebola free.

Yeah, I get that you hate our OC and HC with a combined 69 years of coaching experience but as to your stupid fricking question

So, let me ask you this question. My coworker and I have a combined 20 years of experience coaching baseball. Does that all the sudden qualify he and I to be the Head Coach and Pitching Coach at LSU? You know, since apparently experience qualifies you for a job more so than past performance.

You seem to be very well rounded with hiring young engineers to replace old engineers along with being a baseball coach.

Success as interim coach is not a measurable. Sort of like rookie quarterback or backup that comes in at halftime. There is no substantial game film or much to develop a game plan. The time OM is a better yard stick

I’m sure you thought this was pretty witty before you hit “Submit”. Tell me more about you and your co-worker’s coaching experience. This can only get better. FWIW, I played against LSU’s pitching coach, played for LSU’s head coach, played for LSU’s head coaches father, got drafted twice, played professionally under a pretty good manager named Joe Maddon and coached after I stopped playing and don’t consider myself anywhere near qualified for the job you jokingly ask me if YOU are qualified fo. But what I do know is that elite coaches don’t grow on trees and experience counts for something.
