As far as center, what about that transfer Olineman from Kentucky? He is a guard and is 285. They may cross train him as a center.

Have to agree 100%!!! L. Collins is ready to play as a true freshmen. I can't wait for him to commit also. I hope he enrolls early so we can get him game time ready

I am not one to bash on someones thread, but gee whiz, the stats of Landry and Jones are so way off it is not funny. With that being said, I do like where you were going with the thread. P.J. will be a JR and Loston and Reid will be Soph so I think we are set for a the next few years. Who knows after that point.

No way Mathieu is big enough to move to OLB.

He was listed as 6'2", 202 his senior year and is now listed at 6'0", 217 with the redskins

People always have this ideal ht and weight for certain positions, but in college it doesnt matter. "We need huge safeties and centers and lbs and dts." No we dont. We just need solid players. Forget about their size. Sheppard isnt an ideal size for a MLB, but he did pretty well there.

But at center we have fordham. corey white could play center and mickey johnson could be moved also. Lonergan is going to man center for the next 2 years, so look for someone to move positions if they dont recruit a center or if fordham doesnt work out.

Chill out guys, I thought Mathieu had bulked up my bad. Chavis is known for having light weight crazy fast OLB's

Sheppard is listed at 6'3 240... Since when is that not ideal MLB size haha It is more than ideal? Thats not the worry about him... It's his speed. He is the only linebacker that did have ideal size.

Patrick Willis - 6'1 240
Ray Lewis - 6'1 250
Jon Beason - 6'0 237 (he move outside this year but played MLB for a few years)
DeMeco Ryans - 6-1 250
