i tore both acl's as a freshman in high school, then again as a junior. i rehabbed my whole senior year and went on to have a fairly successful college career. I wasn't half the athlete of sam so i think he will return next year with no problem.

Keep your head up man you will be just fine. Something good will come out of this you will see and look back upon this as a bump in the road.
Just believe in yourself and as bad as it seems now you will be rewarded for all your hard work and determination. Wish you nothing but the best and God Bless!

These days, the repaired ligament is even stronger. That is why so many are having great careers after ACL and Tommy John surgeries. Those 2 procedures used to be a death sentence for an athletic career. shite, didn't Toefield tear 3 ACLs?

He could always play DT and be awesome...

i've never heard of a single knee injury ending somebody's career...
it does happen. not so much these days as 20 years ago, but the Unhappy Triad has been the end of many young men's careers.
the RB from Miami was an incredible story though.....McGehee?

And from what I have read, he never has had the same kind of explosion he had in HS prior to the injury.

Sam is in a dark place right now. He will find the light. He will find the light and do everything he can to get back on the field.

learn the rules, idiot
Lester,You literally bring nothing productive to this site. Why call someone an idiot when he's just a little upset that one of our best went down like that. Especially since its not the first time we've lost a big time player on our defensive front in almost the same fashion. Yea it was within the rules, but cmon man.

He's got to come back! He's a beast.
