Raining....
A slow field benefits us.
Humidity also benefits us.

I'll take a rainy, 99% humidity type of day over a 90 degree day.

WVU will be gasping for air, but all they will get is water vapor. They won't be used to it. Their speed won't do them any good. They are going to be gassed early from expending extra energy to run on a wet field, and not getting enough air due to the humidity.

West Virginia is just as hot and humid.
And I have sat in many bad rain storms in Tiger Stadium.

i hate when people say wet fields benefit one team.

It's wet for both of them. The speed or strength differential doesnt change just because its wet.

Any remember the Miami beatdown in the late 80's. I tell you, I cound not see the other side of the stadium at one point, it was raining so hard.

My wife and I drove 1450 miles to watch that game, though we spent most of that rout (wasn't it something like 45-3?) trying to tell who had the damn ball. We stayed till the final whistle after making that long trip but there literally was no one within 20 feet of us left in the South end zone at game's end.
