I wouldn’t say it drowns him out but it’s really loud.

It's SUPPOSED to drown out the students.

As soon as the Students stop singing "Neck", the band will be allowed to play.

I believe they also chanted FU Landry. That’s unacceptable.
I disagree

delivered to your seat!

Whoa. I’m not a big concession eater, but I totally missed this.

And I’ve been going to games since the early 60s.

When was this happening and how did you order from your seat to have it delivered to you?

You don't remember the guys with the drinks coming down the stairs yelling "Coke, Pepsi and Spriiiiiiiiiiiiiiite!" Hot dogs and peanuts were also sold (for cash money!) by guys roaming the stands.

Yes, I remember. I just never bought anything from them. I’m not a big stadium concession eater. Our family has tailgated since before I was born, so we always had good food to eat and didn’t need to eat anything in the stadium.
In fact, they still do have people walking the stands selling something. I’m not sure what.
I just don’t get the obsession with eating concession stand food.

Same here. Especially at the prices they want for a crappy hot dog, peanuts, etc. Don't get me started on the weak beer offered at 6-pack prices.

Do you have kids??? Have you ever tried to correct a toddler and say dont do that? ? Times outta 10 thry will do it again and the more you make a spectacle about them not doing it they will do it to spite you.

These aren't toddlers, there are actual punitive measures that could be implemented, with real life impacts. That's a pretty good way to stop it.

And I'm sorry, it's shitty and trashy and has infected every damn song the band plays now.

We're tired of it.

We no longer have to ignore just the student section.....the entire stadium was chanting as well. I thought it was a good call.

Do you really like for that chant to be heard on TVs across America with you kids watching?

So you let the toddler stick their hand in fire/ play in traffic/whatever dangerous thing they’re doing

That’s a pretty extreme example to use to compare to yelling profanity by 18-22 year olds

It’s time to pepper spray and taser the offenders. That will bring this to a halt.

If LSU waits until the 4th quarter to enforce nobody will leave early.

Even outside the stadium. Took my 8 year old to his first game and that song was played non stop before the game, after the game, and people singing it during the game. Tiger Stadium is NOT a family event anymore. 18 and up.
