Tim will not be on the team this year, nor will Gary Tharington. Both are being replaced by Quavian Lewis (DL 6-4 220 Jr. Troy, Ala.) transfer from Vanderbilt and Malcolm Bennett DL 6-2 279 Jr. College Park, Ga.

I don't care how much i wanna see lsu kill app state. This is damn impressive to add 15 pounds of muscle and acutally become faster in a matter of months is amazing.

I agree with you on your point but remember in 2004 against Oregon State it was a colder rainy day and the game didn't start till 6. The Tennessee game was a night game.
4:00, if it's clear weather, could be brutal for a team like App State for a while. Really no way to prepare for it.
I tell ya, that Tennessee game may have been at night, but it was the hottest, stickiest, most miserable conditions I've sat through in Tiger Stadium. The Oregon State game got very humid after that downpour. Just nothing like UT though.
What's the over-under for fans having to be recieve medical aid for heat exhaustion during that first game?

No there were no drugs involved. Just some good old fashioned hard work and eating right. Plus, remember that our strength and conditioning coach was once at LSU so he knows how to add mass and speed at the same time. Aramnti is also just naturally athletic.

Of pure physics.... More mass moving faster will win.
It's not like LSU is a bunch of guys playing for the first time. They won't take it lightly and have the whole year to play for.
Said another way, LSU can't win it all in the first game but they could lose it. We crush them just like we did VT.
I can't believe I'm comparing them to VT

he has put on 15 more pounds since last season and his speed is actually .23 seconds faster than last year as well.
I presume you are talking about his 40 time. If so, I will call bullshite as already fast people do not cut nearly a quarter second off of their 40 time in 12 months.
A 185 lb QB running an option v. LSU with an inferior offensive line = concussion.

Yes you did beat us a few years back 20-0. It must have been right after the hurricane because our students raised $20,000.00 and presented it to your student council at halftime

Do you have a problem with Jeff Dunham? He's pretty amazing!

you must have been wasted. it was august and was probably the hottest tailgate i've EVER experienced. The rain came and cooled things off, but it made it muggy as shot. we don't get "colder" days in november much less august

A couple things on the offensive side of the ball.
Gone are:
Kevin Richardson(1,394 rushing yards and 21 total TD's.)
Dexter Jackson(688 receiving yards, 8 TD's)
Hans Batichon( 819 receiving yards, 7 TD"s)
2 of the top 3 rushers from last year and 4 of the top 5 receivers are gone. They also lost three OLmen from last year. This should make for a long night for Edwards. He won't play the entire game, another QB will be sent in.
On the other side of the ball, DL and LB are good. DB's will be the weak spot, they lost all four starters, 3 of them were three year starters.
Keep an eye on CoCo Hillary the return man, last year he avg. 24 yds per kickoff return, he also had 1 returned for a TD.
Should be a good game to watch for the first half.
