It really doesn't matter to me one way or the other. I realize that when you get thousands of drunk college kids together, the language will be rough. However, it kinda shoots holes in the entire "if you didn't graduate or attend LSU, you're not really a fan" bullshite we see on here all the time. From a publicity standpoint, the students are doing much more harm to the school than a bunch of drunk, non alums walking around the campus after a game.

It's not just the college kids. Grown men and women curse like sailors during LSU tailgates and games. No need to just blame the student body in my opinion

I love "Neck", but the other night was the most audible I've heard the chant. I think they were honestly giving it one final sound off tribute. It'll probably be put in the cellar with "Tiger Rag" and "Owee-o". I'm just waiting for "Hey Fightin' Tigers" be replaced with "frick frickity frick frick, frick all the frick"...
It's only a matter of time.

I get that. But when the little angels are warned not to be stupid and loudly chant profanities on national television and the said little angels do it in spite of the warning, things are taken away.
Not only from the little angels but also the rest of us. The long term fans and LSU athletic supporters who not only cheer for the Tigers but also support them with our fricking wallet,
YAY! You left home and can CUSS now!!! How sweet.
Do the rest of us and the rest of the world have to hear on TV how cool you are for chanting dirty words?
I'm sick of traditional songs being taken away from the band because of these fricking idiots.

Actually, I agree with this...in part. Take Some of the seats away and explain why. Then take more if the explanation doesn't get results.
Rinse and repeat until desired result is obtained.

This is a bullshite argument. People continue go to LSU games and donate to the university and to athletics because of how great a time they had in school/TS and what the school meant to them. If you continuously try to restrict students who are adults themselves or try to limit tickets and their participation they will resent the university and future donations will drop.
News Flash all these athletic supporters who pay with their fricking wallet aren't going to be around for ever aka you are going to die someday. LSU needs to ensure that its students will want to come back and donate a shite ton of money. Letting them have a good time in TS will help that.

Heh. Have you ever really looked around at the folks around you?

The reason I pointed out that both college kids and adults alike curse is because it's more "acceptable" to curse when you're the dad it seems.
Everyone should know that the crowd at TS will get rowdy, and they should be aware that their kids will hear more than "oh gosh darn" when attending the game. It's the parents' responsibility if they chose to bring their kids.
I do think it's sad chants are being banned because they words are altered, and I can't really think of any solution other than telling the students to think of our college traditions and to try and keep them going.

No, dude. That is a bullshite argument. Resent and stop buying tickets due to being told not to curse on national television?
Are you really saying this?
You are a fricking idiot.
