LSU has never played NC State in football. They were supposed to play at LSU in 2017 and at NC State in 2020 but LSU canceled the series in 2014.

The only time I ever heard NC State football in relation to LSU was back in 1979 when LSU hired their ill-fated coach Bo Rein.

NC State is a solid football team this year-- 9-3 with wins over Clemson, Miami and North Carolina. They will be a major challenge for a Tiger team lacking the playmaking prowess of Daniels.
